I don't think either of them will implement this. Sure it *COULD* happen, but chances are slim.

No doubt they could. But PC tech will get way better after a while than the new systems, but with consoles, developers know everything about them and that everyone has the same thing. Then can exploit that by better optimization and whatnot.
For example: Crysis 3 on xbox or ps3. If I had a PC with 512MB of ram and the rest of the innards that these current consoles have, it would just not run!!

I think they both will be great things to own. I'll buy one of them this fall (depending on which one has better launch titles) and then I shall buy the other one in the spring.
If they show off the PS4, we can certainly assume that they will show off a game or two.

Yes, but RE5 sold a pretty good amount so they must have decided to keep the formula.
This however..... tanked, especially with the hundreds and hundreds of people they had working on it. Cost a fortune to develop.
