I said what I said because it seems ps5 struggles with basic ray tracing. Objects in r&c missing reflections, gt7 'checkerboard-like' ray trace reflections and all that just watch df. Hopefully they learn to get it right on ps5 soon so it can be 'easier'
Neil around gears 5 release posted on twitter saying he's enjoying the game. Phil congratulating him back is all a beautiful thing don't know how the hell fanboys spin this into some toxic stuff.. these aren't cave dwelling neck beards attacking others' plastics. Neil, cory, and phil are the realest in the industry that actually respect each other unlike their fans(the disgusting ones turning everything into a negative on here)
Too soon to tell, i need to see what series x is bringing. If both show good things I'm getting both.
I'm gonna pretend you meant to type Abby and then agree with the title.
@gigzamillion there is proof of series x doing ray tracing better. There is even a demo of series x doing path tracing(a more realistic and demanding type of ray tracing) if it can do path tracing at 1080p 30fps(demo was 1080p) ray tracing is no issue.
What happened to the petition to change the story
They will both have less - to 0 loading screens. And don't compare what people have been saying about "well even in current gen when i move my games to an ssd they have load screens. Shorter but they have them" because current gen games were not built for ssd.
They will both achieve the same things by going at it differently don't let fanboys try to convince you that i/o is all you need to know.
Let's also not forget that heating slows down SSD so let's hope ps5 doesn't have heating issues.
G.O.T.Y. incoming.
Nintendo doesn't need to do anything they are already outselling xsx and ps5 by 50+ mil. Switch is in the same gen as ps5 and sxs fyi. Also switch is a complimentary console so they really don't have to do anything big.
Series x is smaller than ps5 and as quiet/quieter(?) than x1x. If ps5 makes loud fan noise at that size.. uhh we'll see.
And responsiveness. With super low latency controller and console. That's why they talk about the 'feel' of games. 60+ fps with quick response controls(something consoles lacked) feels nice on PC- can't wait to see how it works on series x.
Better looking cutscenes. They all look different during gameplay. (Reason i just play and not turn the camera back to see character face. Looks off seeing how different they look from cutscenes)
If anything it'll be more like battlefront 2 camera change which is not even bad.. halo has been switching from first person to third person many times from halo 1 - 5(with turrets/ walking with turrets, vehicles). Nothing THAT new but would be cool.
3 guys with no masks that close to each other? Someone's getting ray tracing together with a virus this holiday
Yeah 4k 60fps should be the next gen minimum.
Bugsnax trailer got me feeling that way too but we'll see what happens. Too soon to tell. Ps fanboys overhyped ssd we were told by the fanboys that all games would look like unreal 5 demo with crazy amount of detail no matter how big the game and some objects in ratchet dont even have reflections while other objects do and the odd pop in in gt7.. just trying to see a true next gen game with no compromises like those.
Probably 2022+
Hopefully that fixes the lil lagginess we saw when they were in-doors
I hope E3 comes back next year.
Paper mario ftw
