Scorpio will come out at the right time for me as I will upgrade my tv then and The Pro is too early imo. I'll wait for The Pro.....who knows, maybe I'll buy it the same time as Scorpio, it might have dropped in price by then too.

Still not buying it until I can utilize the best out of it, why would I buy it now when I have a perfectly good PS4 and a 1080p tv? To anyone who is diving in with their 1080p tellie, good on you.

My all time favorite Sony title.......looked good on the PS4 and some day I'll check it out in 4K.

For what the Pro is, it's good value but I would need a pricey monitor to go with it.

For you watching movies may not be important, but to me it is. I'm not running out to buy a new 4k tv at the current prices to justify spending another $520 (Canadian) on a console I already own that has a bit of an upgrade. Like I said, the Pro is out a little early for me.

I have been thinking the same thing. I don't own a 4k tv yet and was planning on one in the next few months and I think a lot of people are in the same scenario. I think Pro is out a little too soon because of low 4k adoption rate and with no 4k bluray I'm holding off and waitng for Scorpio because that now gives me 14 months to plan. Yes exactly, the Sony cult will do everything in their power to downplay it but to me it's a big deal as I cancelled my Pro preorder because of no 4k bluray. This author is out to lunch too.... the S is great value if you own a 4K hdr tv plus it upscales games.
