What a wanker fanboy article. I'm holding out on any sort of aplomb til this thing's released and all these idiotic articles stating how wonderful or how generic the game is got old a long time ago. Hype destroys games and if they don't live up, then they get ripped.

Putting Nikola Tesla in the game's story is just fabulous. The more exposure that genius gets, even in his death, the better. How he's not taught about in classrooms is heresy, kudos to Ready At Dawn.
When Evolve gets the reality check that we as consumers will choose to vote with our wallets there's gonna be some huge backlash at Turtle Rock. I'm not plunking down money for this. I was really pumped for this game but not now. They should have announced their dlc plans way after launch because this game is gonna struggle to sell now.

All these bs articles leading up to this game's release are getting really annoying. I'll judge for myself on Feb. 20. Don't know if it's worth 70 bucks Canadian so I'll play wait and see with reviews and maybe wait a couple months for a price drop. I must check it out even if it's only for those amazing graphics.

Yep, delusional fanboys ruling the roost here. 50 bucks is huge for a young gamer's wallet and X1 will sell very well at 350. You can talk all you want about 2014, but if Sony don't match, X1 will catch up fast. Sony loyalists are freaking hilarious...get a life already.
Only Sony fanboys can say no to a price cut because Sony can never do any wrong in their eyes. If the $50 price difference lasts for long you'll see how fast X1 takes off and catches up.

Good article and I really wanted this good looking game a few months ago too, but paying more for what should already be in the game just plain sucks. I like my single player and these titles, like Titanfall make it impossible for me to justify, multiplayer games only don't interest me.
We don't have to wait much longer to judge for ourselves but hearing from actual hands on from these previewers is good to get the lowdown before I put my cash down.
Ummm Gears has a great multiplayer. The biggest concern most have for this game is, is it worth $70 (I live in Canada)? Possibly a short, linear game with no MP gives us consumers reason to be weary. I really hope it does deliver, if not I'll try it out on rental or wait for a used copy later.
