Hoping it does get a sequel. The right tools are in place, but next time let us play the damn game, not just let us look at it.
After renting the game and playing it for myself this borefest got the scores on metacritix it deserved and 6.5 is all it deserves. Never played such a beautiful game with so many limitations. This Andrea fellow should learn to shut his trap already.
Where in this article does it mention anything about 30 fps?
I disagree. I think the article is dead on. As of right now, 1 1/2 years in there are zero must play exclusives on the PS4. Sure couldn't say that about the PS3 1 1/2 years in. I know Sony will eventually start rolling out the AAA's but greatness awaits my ass, I'd settle for goodness right about now.
This game is one big boring bellyflop........followed by a cutscene.
How is it a smear campaign when the reality of the game is it is boring. Walking around, turning objects in my hand, countless qte's and old used gameplay mechanics. That's the problem with the game.
From the reviews it is in the polished turd category....or a pig with lipstick perhaps. That's all I need to know. Waiting for this to hit the $20 mark in the bargain bin.
Sony fanboys will be crying in their Victorian soup tonight.
Yeah review scores added up usually tell a better story if the game's any good. Sure it'll sell well at first but it won't have any staying power with it getting mediocreto bad reviews and being short with no xtra content ain't helping matters either. This game wants so bad to be Scarllet Johanson but ends up being Shelley Duval. I'm waiting for it to hit the bargain bin and I'm guessing that won't take very long.
Oh no wait, let's just throw them in jail or hang them by their toenails, that'll teach 'em!
All I know is I ain't paying $70 (Canadian) for a 5-6 hr game with zero xtra content. I'll be waiting for this to hit the bargain bin.
The criticism is about the length and is it worth $60. It's got zero to do with fanboys carving it up. If it's worth $60 to you then great, have a party. But no replay value, too many cutscenes, quick timers, no multiplayer, and very short plus those stupid black bars to stare at means I'm waiting for a big price drop to pick it up. It's called monetary choices, not fanboyism.
Some gamers and game journalists treat developers like dog$hit. Some deserve to leave the industry, such as Fish but to treat them like criminals or pathological liars is hilarious. So what, Molyneux is passionate and overhypes his games, who gives a shit? Don't buy his products, pretty simple really. It's so easy to pick on other people's flaws to deflect our own.
It's a real ocular pain reading this author's drivel called articles. But Ryse was and still is a fabulous looking almost 1 1/2 year old game. Can't wait to see what these new consoles will deliver in the next few years.
Because it's a 3rd party exclusive, does that make it inferior in any way? I prefer good games and could give an asses rat what system it comes out on because I can play on either.
Wow, great deals...thanx for the list Christo. Gonna be picking up Isolation and Lords OTF.
Yeah, you said it, too many Sony tattooed asses around these parts.
Three hours.....yeah that was laughable. 12 hours plus sounds more believable. All the contradicting previews on this game got old a long time ago. Waiting for the reviews to land before I decide to be an early buyer.
Why do devs even announce these pricey dlc packs before launch, are they that dense? Why not wait til the game's released a couple weeks or more to announce these gouging practices. It's like sending the horses out first at a parade.
$20....no more.
