I think he refers to the more mainstream 3D. Indeed first 3D games were crappy as fuck. I remember playing Robocop 3. Such difficult times yet I had so much fun. So much wonder.

I think what capture my wonder in Spiderman was that it was the game I didn’t know I wanted. I have played every Spiderman game, although not a fan of the comic, I became inclined to the games without realizing. It was very natural.
I think the biggest impact of Spiderman was the leap compared to other Spiderman games rather that it’s overall quality as a game itself.

I’m surprised. I have try everything. It goes down to 55-50 way too often. And 45 in crowded areas.
Removing antialiasing helps but performance is not great. Odyssey runs better.
