Why so angry?
Btw your post makes absolutely no sense.
I am TOTALLY confused about gakai now, thanks to you.
I thought Gakai was supposed to solve the issue of backwards compatibility by streaming ps3 games that cannot be played on ps4 but instead are processed in the cloud to the ps4 and back and forth an so forth such that a ps4 owner can play ps3 games as if the ps4 was backward c...
yeah.
Also, I think GameStop missed this:

After the MS DRM fiasco, will we see the fanboys on N4g treat Sony with the same deserved contempt as a result of the Sony DRM flip-flopping?
"PlayStation Now is 'not the answer to backwards compatibility' says Sony"
Righto.
So what is gakai?
What is Playstation Now?
was it just something for the fanboys on n4g to get excited about?
Please can someone enlighten me.
well. It wouldn't hurt to buy MS stock.
After all, Sony stock has fallen from 140+ to less than 20 points since the ps1 days.

I would not be buying Sony stock.
MS stock may be a better choice?

Yes, of course i realise that.
The ps4 is making losses on all sales, but it hopes to recoup those losses after newly introduced mandatory charges for PSN and PSN+, new microtransactions, video sales, TV streaming sales, Movie sales, add on game sales, indie game sales, ps3 backward compatibility streaming sales, and of course new game sales... etc.
That's no big secret.
Judging by your quick and adamant res...

"It's not the fault of the software, it's the fault of the infrastructure."
Ok.
So.
Now what?
Does this absolution of fault make the service provided by Sony better?
What exactly was the purpose of your comment?
Yeah.
So, bottom line, Sony is all about DRM and always on digital distribution, after all.
There is just no way for the fanboys to contest this.
Well, seeing as it's all fun...
what could i buy with 4.2million Ps4 consoles sold?
Nothing.
I'd be in debt because Sony had to price the console at a loss. It's $100 cheaper and it's sold at a loss.
This is all fun, right?
(even though I am stating facts, I feel I should run for cover)
@theoneb
"That's officially the nail in the coffin for this over hyped game."
WTF?
Did you really just write that?
The game is not out yet and you posted your arbitrary uninformed personal opinion as THE official nail in the coffin?
Comments like yours are the reason the n4g.com community has such a bad reputation across the net.
Thank you for your informed response.
I am glad that we have real gamers like you left on this site. I can't fathom how you got disagrees.
I am totally looking forward to this game as a result of your actual gaming experience.
I recall that TLOU had 4vs4 mp, but none one complained. I don't get it.
I play starcraft2 and it is loads of fun 1vs1 and 2vs2. In fact, I prefer less players and more accountability for each player. Too many p...
@Tiqila
Yeah. I had such high hopes for gakai on ps4.
This service was much hyped and I am still sitting on the fence about getting a ps4.
I had been afraid that the graphical quality would be degraded and the lag would be too noticeable - and it appears with good reason..
It seems early users of gakai on ps4 have shown significant lag with games and even graphical fidelity reduction with artifacts - even on a high speed internet conn...
ok. I am glad I am not the only one here who noticed there was multiple references to bandwidth and lag issues.
The article states:
--"Yes, there's a slightly perceptible lag between button presses and the corresponding action onscreen"
--"In terms of graphics, the experience isn't perfectly on par with what you'd get from a PS3"
--"Sony emphasized that everything will depend on your bandw...
Joe.
So wait. I get it right and you agree that I got it right, but still I am the worst of the worst on here?
There is something very wrong with your comment.
Think about it.
Also, if the behaviour is that of a 13 year old, then why can't i call it for what it is?
Also, calling me "the most pathetic fanboy on this site out of MS, Sony, or Nintendo fanboys" is rather extreme.
Also you ch...
@Axios
Not sure why you got so many disagrees. (50+)
You made a positive statement and your numbers appear to be correct.
Some members of the community on this site are so one-eyed.
Either they are spiteful 13 year olds, or there is a preponderance of religious fanaticism amongst grownups on here that cannot stomach the idea that the more expensive competitor is almost doing as well in sales as the cheaper one.
PS4 is $100 cheaper.
I do apologise for being the harbinger of this inconvenient truth.
SONY. ALREADY POSSIBLE ELSEWHERE.
fixed.
@joecanada
agreed.
@kwyjibo
nah dude I built a pc in 2013. cpu3570k, gpu7950, SSD samsung pro 256gb. 8GB RAM.
I runs anything and everything available on PC for now and for a few years into the future. I just haven't bought anything off steam is what i was trying to say.
I just play Starcraft2 on PC :D
Yeah sorry Gabe.
I have been a Steam member for many years, but only because I like the idea of digital downloads.
Having said that, the last game I bought on steam was X3 Reunion and the last time I played that was in 2009.
Now the thing that gets me with this whole steam box thing, is that you CAN'T buy a steam box and then play your old library of PC games on it.
Can you believe that?
In fact, what you gotta do is have ANOTHER ...

An unintentional double negative perhaps?

Cripes.
I seem to have rattled the cage a bit!
It seems so odd that the ps4 fans are totally excusing this Sony DRM mess, when not so long ago they were up in arms over the attempts of MS to do the same.
Difference is, if course, that MS changed course, while Sony sneaked in the back with the DRM, hoping not to get noticed.
Shame on you guys for defending Sony's shameful deception!
You have the gall to de...
