To be honest, I considered getting a ps4.
It just doesn't do anything special, in my opinion. All it really does is pump out a few more pixels than the ps3. No real innovation that i can see. What's more, PS NOW is proving to be quite laggy, even on a go...

ALL of the things you mentioned have been done or are being done elsewhere, on competing platforms, or on PC.
No innovation relating to Ps4 mentioned at all in your post.

To date, the only improvement of the ps4 over ps3 is
- more RAM
- better GPU
- better CPU
Everything else is EXACTLY the same as Ps3.

It doesn't matter what sustained download speed you have if your PING is poor.
Also: Lag. That's the biggest issue. It is directly related to PING.
LAG has already been shown to be unacceptably high, even when the network connection is perfect. A recent example showed significant lag, even though the rendering server was in the next room:

Once again, here we have a story about a game that is not available on the ps4, but the thread is overrun with PS4 fanboys talking trash about the game.
I do prefer to listen to the users on here that have actually played the game - not the fanboy armchair generals. From those that have actually played the game I got the impression that the game is rather fun!

Good article, the xbo is $100 more expensive and available in only 13 countries. that makes 3m+ sold all the more impressive.

It stands to reason that an allocation of limited supply distributed across more countries will result in less allocation per country thereby creating artificial shortages.
In short, each country gets less allocation, because there are more countries to supply.
That's all there is to it.
