I think the difference was the ps3 launched at 600 with no games while the 360 was killing it with games. The other thing is its been like 5 years! For the 360 to have a balance like that is good. I also like the fact of ms not releasing a ton of games in one year. Unlike like many here I like multiplats too. This is another balance I think ms is doing good on, although it may not be much of a choice by ms since they closed down more studios then they own.

No that did not work out well for the xbox at all. You do know that because ms had nothing to do with the parts is the very reason why they had no choice but to ditch it and realease the 360.
I forgot who ms used but they would not lower the price on the parts and couldn't make a profit at all and considering how well the ps2 was doing ms just couldn't continue with the xbox.
