IMO dlc is just being abused and most times announced too early. What ea should have done IMO though is if they want to do specific store dlc then they should have done some kind of team marketing. Do what ever dlc you want but make it competitive ( store x gets this And y gets that) market that dlc as a store x vs store y, market it right, and it will Be on! Could even turn into a east vs west as long as it's ke...

You are half right. They did cut off live on the original xbox but it wasn't early on in the 360 it wasn't too long ago that they did it was like a year or 2 ago.
What's worse ms closing down live on xbox or Sonys half attempt at online play with the ps2. If my memory serves me right it was like a nintendo of online kinda thing
