i just cant find time to squeeze decent games in inbetween all the greaT games coming out these next few weeks and last week.i could buy it , but when would i play it. and i love spiderman

timing, luck and shrewd marketing need to come together like a perfect storm and even then you need the final piece which is word of mouth that no one can set up or control.that's why word of mouth is still considered the best form of advertising
I WOULDN'T BE TOO CONCERNED ABOUT THESE LARGE RETAILERS THAT WILL FALL BY THE WAYSIDE FROM DIG DIST. THE ROADSIDE IS LITTERED WITH COMPANIES THAT ARE NO LONGER USEFUL BECAUSE THEIR BUSINESS MODEL IS OUTDATED.IT WON'T HAPPEN TOO SOON, BUT THE END IS COMING FOR GAMESTOP EVENTUALLY, JUST LIKE SAM GOODY OR OTHER BUSINESSES THAT DEAlt with music.

...but halo 1 and 2 are the only reasons there is an x360 at all. microsoft xbox platform was built entirely on that name alone.just try to imagine what microsoft what have done had halo tanked or just not existed . and i agree the series is overated... but overated doesn't mean poor quality
it's been proven that when developers learn to use the ps3 and get to concentrate exclusively with it they produce beautiful games like ratchet and resistance as well as the above mentioned games. haze with it's disappointing graphics was more of the exception to the rule.
instead of comparing 3rd party games where there is a rush to get everything out the door at the same time...LETS COMPARE GRAPHICS FOR EXCLUSIVE GAMES..more difficult but a true test of capabilities
it's called site traffic and hits and we all get sucked in everyday.don't look for it to end soon, maybe the people posting it could read it for us to determine if it actually has anything to offer
a disappointment doesn't equal a bad game ..i think the writer should have used the word overrated..i think a game that is overrated could actually be a really good game, but not equal to the hype it receives..a perfect example for me were halo 3 and heavenly sword..i enjoyed them both but both were overhyped and didn't live up to their potential
this title was getting very lukewarm previews ages ago and with all the extra development time it didnt seem to work out.it was probably doomed from the early stages.no excuse for poor graphics on a ps3 exclusive at this point.that said i've seen some bad games get better than a 4.5, so maybe ubisoft didnt grant ign that exclusive it wanted for the review..i will personally wait for a few more reviews to come down

if 10 doesnt mean perfect , than it has no meaning.most mags and sights tell you that a game at 10 is perfect when they tell what their scoring system means.we are all slaves to a number instead of reading the review itself to determine the quality of the game. you dont need to go to journalism school or be an english major to count until 10.
i am playing and loving this game but it is not a 10 by any means .if for one simple reason...they havent advanced the core gameplay at all.. the missions are the same as they have been since gta 3.i am still having fun with them, but it's probably due to the much improved storytellling, which as a part of the game,does deserve a 10 for a videogame story.the whole exclusive anything in videogame reviews is very fishy..in any business something has to be compromised to get an exclusive anythin...

it was with the 360 before either competitors machine was on sale and for halo 3
the future is not for the 360..not to say it isn't worth having one because if you love games ,you need one, but they shouldn't be pounding their chest about the current position
microsoft will have to position banjo to the hardcore crowd because the casual and family players arent there, aND THEN IF THEY TAKE THAT APPROACH it goes against what you were saying, and pinata just aint happening on the 360.even sony had to turn ratchet and jak into games that were cool enough for the hard core and appealing enough for parents to buy for the kids.if pinata had nintendo on the package it would sell, but thats a whole other topic.

i own every system, i am like everyone else in here, i play the games im interested in and pass on the ones im not because at 60 dollars a pop, i cant afford to play games i dont like . i am only looking at that line up and thinking its not going to get one single person to buy the 360 if they dont already have one under the tv ,anyone buying gears 2 is already a 360 owner.they would have bought the 360 for gears 1 if they were compelled by the series
