Also, it has been out for 4 years and they are saying it will go at least another 4 more. 4 more years of games restricted to dvd? A lot changes in that short period of time.

I got a reason to play a ps3. TO PLAY PS3 GAMES! Not to play your ps2 library. You could argue it's inconvenient to have a ps2 and ps3 next to each other, but not "people aren't buying a ps3 because they would lose thier ps2 games".
The first was and still is too expensive. The devs and publisher know nothing of business. Either that or they just forgot about the game completely.

WTF are they thinking? It's obvious nobody wants to pay that much for a short single player game so they need a price drop. Every month I'm sure plenty of people just decide to rent it. It needs to go down to $30.
Physical buttons? The touch surface buttons made me freak out over how awsome the ps3 was. And why on earth is it not shiny anymore? I can understand doing that for the PspGo because your touching it, but you aren't going to get fingerprints over a stationary console.
FREE GAME!!! If they start to process the trade-in, grab your ps3 and run out the door.
Just buy it on your computer and transfer it to your ps3.
As for hulu, they have blocked the ps3 because they don't want people to be able to watch hulu on their tv because they would never watch normal tv again. Too bad for them that I just hook my laptop up to my tv in 30 seconds and watch all the new shows in my living room.
But I think I'll get a Zune HD instead. YES I SAID A ZUNE! Same as the itouch (screw the appstore).
It will play ps2 games. You'll have to hack it of course to get your collection on it.
