I don't get how they're TV's are doing so badly. I got a cheaper 32" one and it's great. It can handle SD sources without any quality degradation issues and looks great in HD.
I guess it just comes down to what people see as nice. Then there are those who go for the cheapest things out there and don't even notice the horrible quality of the picture.
