any one with eyes can tell between 720p native and 1080p native

well, for one
ps4 exclusives are all 1080p native
while xbox own exclusives are 720p/900p beside one race game that doing nothing next gen.
ps4 side of multiplat games are all 1080p native outside of BF4 which still have higher res 900p on ps4 than xbox 720p version.
if this is not enough to tell you about the power gap alnog with the offical specs
then i don't know what will.

short answer:
ps3 was more powerful but only by small amount but was harder to work with because it using different CPU than xbox360/pc
that's why in it early years xbox was the lead system for mulyiplat games
and only ps3 exclusives were able to show it power which look better than any multiplat game or xbox 360 exclusive on consoles
on the other hand ps4 is ...
