Called Rickroll. It's coming. You better believe it.
You'll get to watch that video while all of your precious files are erased.
But it isn't an issue if Sony makes it happen in a completely different manner right? And considering they would have to because the XMB and OS is so different, I don't know if it could be seen as patent infringement.
There are all sorts of products that do the exact same thing. I just didn't think it was an issue if the end product was made to happen in a different way.
Here's an example. It's like saying Apple has a patent for a handheld music player with a to...
That is not a fan of digital downloads.
Not March 31st. That and it doesn't get any more official than the Sony blog.
I'm with you about all the great stuff there will be to mess around with by the end of the month, but don't expect the XMB and Home to be a part of the madness.
Besides, aren't these enough positives for one month? A BIG-ASS PSN store update with GT5P, MGO beta, and GTA4? Hell, they could save the rest for next month because I will be easily satisifed for quite a while.
Also, SCEE already said in-game XMB around update 2.4.
"We were also told that the Store "will require everyone to upgrade to 2.30 [firmware]," which Sony has yet to talk about publicly."
One more step to 2.4.
Microsoft is making a killing off of charging for Live. Live is a great service, but what I'm worried about is that Sony will one day realize just how much of a cash cow it could be and decide to charge for PSN.
I could honestly care less whether or not Microsoft wants to charge for it. I just hope they don't start a trend.
And one more thing. I've said this before but it really baffles me. Why the $50 just for multiplayer? If I were Microsoft, I would charge for...
If you play online in your kitchen, then you are truly hardcore.
I got stuck on one of the islands on Archipelago with Dylan Jobe (PSN-The GoatAss) in Warhawk. He wasn't using his headset but I can't blame him. His ear probably would have fallen off if he had one. I also played with a guy from Incog named Mr. McBones. He actually congratulated me because I was the only one to outscore him and come in first in over ten games in a row.
It's definitely a perk that for the most part only happens in video games. I hope these achievements translat...
I haven't been able to install a single mod on UT3. I have no idea if it has anything to do with the update, but I can't imagine it being anything else considering I use the same flash drive and same website for mods.
I even tried to install some of the mods I already had and I couldn't even reinstall them. Anyone else having this problem?
And before anyone asks, the file setup on my flash drive is set up perfectly to install mods. I know because it was working u...
They were awesome. I loved trying to drive over a row of 10 monks (I think)while they run from your car. It's where I learned all of my criminal fundamentals like barricading a bridge with cars and making my last stand. If anything, I probably appreciated GTA3 that much more because I knew the progress that Rockstar had made for the third game.
This writer doesn't seem to like human interaction.
But you made some excellent points. Kudos for making the best post I've read in at least a month and making some awesome and very factual points.
I'm not a pirate. It's not that I care about stealing from the rich stars, but I just can't steal. Personal morals kick in every time I think about downloading music and movies.
My loss.
And I could name a hell of a lot more than 5. However, I didn't even know about the music option. That's cool as hell. I won't lie though. I kind of expected more than 150 songs, but that's just me being outrageous.
Live is great overall. It's got a lot of amazing extras and a ton of content. The layout is fantastic and easy to use. That's why I was so surprised that I had as much access as I did with a Silver account. I could do anything a Gold member could do but play multiplayer online.
I would just think that it would make more sense to charge the yearly $50 for the whole package. I know that's backwards thinking, but if you're going to charge for something, shouldn't it be the bigges...
I know there are some that want to use multiple accounts for the game, but if you only plan on using one account, it's not an issue at all.
And I really doubt you would get hardly anything for the blu-ray version. Also, it's price didn't go down making this deal even better.
And how dare you make Warhawk sound mediocre?! Just kidding. It's a grea game, but not everyone's cup of tea I guess. It's probably the third person aspect, huh? Some people really don't go f...
If it does, it might be the first game ever that I get in line for.
They're console haters. Say the wrong console in your comment and your guaranteed a few disagrees before you say anything.
Watch, I'll show you. 360!!!
Anyway, the trailer was awesome. This is going to be a long month.
Thank goodness the credits showed IGN Entertainment and a release date of April 1st or else this might have gone a little farther.
They should have released this out of the blue on a different day. That would have been fun to watch.
