I hope you realize the PS4 games at E3 were running on incomplete devkits. And btw yes MS does have DX11.1, however the PS4 uses PSSL. It's compatible with DX11 and OpenGL 4.0 but got even better because it has full acess to the PS4 hardware.

1) Forza 5 has a DRM input. You need to update the game to play it, showing that MS really wants DRM.
2) At E3, the XB1 was using high end PCs using windows 7 and NVidia graphics cards. The PS4 was using incomplete dev kits. I think the DRM and the power are key factors. As for the DRM, MS are bound to roll off that patch. As for power, I think 2-3 years from now, games will be using more RAM. That means, the XB1 will be getting seriously watered down ports or just less games. Even though FFXV and KH3 are using Direct X11, the PS4 is bound to run them better.
