No bbutthe nost expebsive models oricing wont be on the same planet as the two new xonsoles... looking at at least 1.5k for the top spec and 500 ish for the lowest spec with the i3 or i5 I think. This wibt catch on with the najority of the console owners-mostly people with gaming ocs in need of upgrades are who this kight appeal to just remember stean os doesnt let you access games bought frkm windows steam as its linux based...games need to be reprogrammed...
I cant see it myself.... not based off oreorder demand-sometimes I see this guys exoectation for the undustry every year or so we get one such article and ibjust think "how the hell were you ceo.... being so out ofbtouch with it all as he clearly is." God, I remember when he thought thw ubdustry would be selling us the game the at an extra cost the cutscenes.....
Well it was only longer I think because fo the financial issues that everyobe encountered this last gen, the hardware manufacturers, the developers and the consumers so the generation got delayed....
Basically its publishers being greedy/not wanting pissed off retailers. Going digital cuts put all the costs of box, disc, manual and retailer cut-staff costs etc. Tbh I think the main reason is wanting retailers to push their hardware because any business would know that pricing the digital copy lower and say 5000 day 1 sales at £30 is better than say 1500 day 1 sales at £40-50 and lifetime sales at 2 million for £20-30 gets you morr money than life time sales of 1 million at ...

I expect a ps5 in 5-6 years max, I also expect a new xbox around then...

Look at ps blog post they mention showing the games that will define 2014 for playstation 4.... I don't believe they'll just be 3rd party... might be like destiny as it has PS exclusive content etc. But otherwise I expect to see a new game or two-besides what Yoshida considers a suprise or something that we should expect mean he might not technically be lying... if Naughty Dog announced say uncharted 4, or Dark Souls 2 got announced would anyone really be surprised...?
read the ps blogs post on this they say "exclusive debut's and trailers for the ps4 games that will define 2014" or words to that effect... really thing there aren't going to be new game announcements... new exclusives?

@shoddy .... Impressive physics there mate-the issue is bandwidth/speed data can transfer so by using a method with notoriously high latency and bottlenecks due to bandwidth we will somehow fix this issue...... *doh*
There are 90 levels in the game the invasion levels bring the count up to 120 I believe or 130 so... I'm pretty certain there are 90 levels there.
Is he trying to say the game won't function if your using say steam OS when it launches? Really.... an OS geared towards gamers that many might well adopt for gaming and they'd risk sales by refusing to support it? Just to spite people who didn't buy the xbox one version of the game? I think the talent from thise days has moved on or retired... Next year will be too late for them to target the hardcore gamers more than the casuals as the other two next gen consoles will have been out for a year this tkme next year pretty much. Not really ps3 had this too, it probably just that they neded new drivers for some of the stuff like dvd's and couldn't get them done on time to put it in the final firmware in the hardware, by january they'll ship with 1.50 installed I'm sure. Being an early adopter this si what you get-still I can't wait to get my ps4 xD
