I'll bet that this guy doesn't own a PS3..
He's just been bragging along the entire time, he doesn't show numbers.
Played through the game 4 times on PS#, didn't bother me one bit. Great experience.
Although I'd have to say that whoever programmed the engine's PS3 side SUCKS. Find some new devs/engineers Terminal Reality...
"Microsoft don't want to be "relying on third parties" anymore. "
- Mass Effect
- Gears of War
- Splinter Cell: Conviction
Hopefully it won't scratch one of your discs when you're swapping them... Or just dies, from... who knows what?!
.... and 360..; To be politically correct.
Already compromised if they don't support dual audio tracks.
lol @ Rising using Natal. It isn't going to happen, especially on a multi-plat release of a Metal Gear game.
Obviously it won't use that engine. The MGS4 engine is PS3-only, it's not a multi-platform engine.
Natal won't revolutionize anything. The technology behind it already exists, it's just presenting it in a different manner. It's far from seeing a commercial release and the peripheral alone will cost upwards of $100.
There are no expectations for this game. After Kojima basically shot it down as a spin-off and a gimmick at E3 I don't think anyone's really interested in it.
What about dual-audio tracks for PS3?
"This was a gigaton announcement at E3 last week, exclusive (for now) to the PLAYSTATION 3 and coming as an MMO in 2010."
We know what system this guy owns. ;)
Insecure much? I thought that they were glamorizing their huge e-peens at E3.
Valve... lol
"The company also showcased the new Rock Band Beatles game, and trotted out several big name celebrities.”
Most of them not knowing what to do, or what the hell they were doing at the press conference.
It's funny..
They gave Microsoft props for bringing in Paul and Ringo, but did you even see how they reacted? They were like "where the hell are we...? Do any of these idiots know who we are?! Why are we even here?!".
Project Natal isn't anywhere near ready for consumers and barely functional enough to work with casual video games, it's input lag is way too high for hardcore games, and works just enough to be about 20% behind the Wii's motion sensor latency...
Natal currently has NO use for hardcore gaming as it's input lag is way too high. For casual gaming (as demonstrated by that girl) it would be fine. It is too slow, not responsive enough, and did not prove to be very accurate.
"Square Enix surprised everyone on Tuesday when it announced at Sony's E3 press conference that not only would Final Fantasy XIII hit stores next year, but so too will Final Fantasy XIV Online -- a follow-up MMO from the same team that brought you Final Fantasy XI in 2002"
Structure of this sentence is HORRIBLE. Square-Enix didn't announce anything at Sony's conference. Sony announced that FFXIV (a S-E) gasme would be launched in 2010.
Come on, how is this ...
They stated that they're not going after WoW.
Too bad F1 is pretty much dead.
