i love reading stuff like this article. I bought bf3 on the PS3...WOW. That is the last BF/DICE game I ever buy. If that trend keeps up I'll blacklist EA too. I'm not fanboy. I expect a decent product when I go play full price retail. Refuse to provide it? Won't see any more money from me.
I don't think either games online is anything to write home about...and that was before rockstar gimped all the jobs and rep points. Not saying they are terrible....just nothing amazing. Last of Us is one of the best games I have ever played (SP)...and i prefer to play MP.
I think gta will get it because all of the fanboy kiss asses and GTA is multiplat. Would be cool to see how many GTA voters never even played LOU.
Last of Us = GOTY. End of discussion.
Even if GTA didn't have a ton of bugs and glitches...omg the online lol...Last of Us would still be GOTY.

Sp is very fun/good. MP? .......wtf. They need a new person in charge of the MP.
It will be a broken, buggy mess. See other Ubisoft titles. I wrote them off after the technical joke that was AC3's multiplayer.
OMG! 1.2mil for $20!? WOW. It's cool they gave us 500k but for many people such as myself we lost more money than that on the characters we lost since where were full retail price paying beta testers.

That has been my only problem with them....and Its actually not very uncommon. I buy a game MONTHS in advance and select it for release day delivery. The game doesn't get delivered until days after it officially comes out.
You get free shipping every time this happens, but when its a game you have been waiting and waiting for you want to play it asap.

LOL can't wait to read more of the same. I pre ordered BF3 for the PS3. WOW @ that....the chat didn't even work if you were in a party of more than 2 among many many other things. That was the last DICE game I will EVER buy. Good to see they haven't changed.

if you think you're to "good or "elite" to even have a beta and then furthermore choose to use full price paying customers of your retail copy as beta guinea pigs you deserve what you get. As a "top" developer you should hold YOURSELF to a higher standard. That's just my opinion

I don't know what makes them think they are so bad ass that they are too good do to betas....I hope they just learned they aren't. Its not good business to release slop and works in progress.
I exit to single player every time before quitting the online and lose every character...even an apartment. I'm done playing it.
its a high quality amazing game for sure. That said it is a lot of the same stuff different day. TLOU is GOTY.
Half assing the game and having major bugs and glitches really turned the series into crap. Especially the MP. After AC3 I swore I would never buy another one and will keep to that. Just don't know if that games quality speaks to all Ubisoft titles.

Given DICE's track record I can't see anyone going into buy any game they make with any sort of expectations.
