Pretty much.
I would also add Heavy Rain. It was visually impressive, interesting and I was entertained through the first playthrough, but got pretty bored on my second attempt. Like David Cage said, it was meant to be played through once. The game is good.
Oh yeah, and GTAIV.
You can't diss Bioshock and Resistance 1/2 and then praise Gears 1/2 by saying they're "freaking awesome games".
That's a little... idk how to put it...
Is that there was practically nothing else to do but move forward. Almost zero variaty compared to other FFs.
The whole game consisted of moving forward and battling.(except at the end when it's more open ended, but that's lame, I shouldn't have to play through 30hrs to get to the good part.)
On another note, I don't precisely like completely open worlds/barren wastelands, etc, like in Fallout.
That's a good thing about PS3 -> 360 porting. We get way better results.
It'll come down to performance. Even though I don't think that'll matter unless it makes things unplayable.
xD
That's the main problem. Fans and owners of the original Forza 3 release can't get any of the new content unless they pay $60 again for the repackaged UE.
I was fine with the original game. But I'm not sure how happy the more loyal fans are about this though.
I think they're also adding new cars and content that people can't acquire unless they buy the "Ultimate Edition".
Basically the same game is being repackaged as a new game.
Hey! GOWII and Shadow of the Colossus are beautiful PS2 games, as well as MGS3 and it managed RE4 quite nicely too. So the PS2 wasn't that pitiful. Considering it's huge success and how the mightier Xbox died so quickly as well as the GameCube.
Since when does a system's RAM and power, equal the fun a system can deliver? Give me some games!

@ plenty a tool
GTA4 was multiplatform. Not a PS3 exclusive that was later ported to 360. You...
And I doubt Polyphony would ignore that.
Another thing. The guy driving sucked with or without a road.
I don't know why fanboys are going crazy over this. Exposure of this bug to the public will definitely get Sony's/PD's attention and will more than likely make it a priority fix before release.
I could have chosen better screenshots, but good list anyway.
This is from the E3 demo build that's on stores.
I know the TGS demo had even better sounds.
Lot of people there threatening to return the game and getting Black Ops instead, lol.
Freaking cheaters. Hope they all were deserving of the ban. I would hate to be part of the 15K people and be wrongfully banned.
"i take poops with more entertainment then this game"
"Wtf bungie i want my rank back i done the challenge glitch like 4 times"
- These people are smoking something :P
To talk about gaming and industry news?
Honestly, I've only used it 2 or 3 times. It's a nice option, but if I need to talk to my friends, we'd talk on the phone. And if we talk while playing a game, it'll usually be the same game.
Love co-op chat!
I can't stand playing a game while talking to someone about a completely different subject. That's why I stop the conversation to keep playing, whether it's on the phone or cross...
You don't know that.
Never say never.
The first GTA released on PC and PS1 practically at the same time(Q4 2007)
The game would do fine as a multiplatform anyways, not PC exclusive.
This demo is 4 months old(E3). TGS demo had better sounds.
And even after that Kazunori said the engine sounds were still being improved.
But it's still the older E3 demo build :(
I'd love to get my hands on the TGS demo at least. Better sounds, physics, visual teaks, etc.
But then again I don't want to spoil the game for later :P
Well, UE3 wasn't the most PS3 friendly engine from the start. It's they're fault for making that choice in the first place.
Alright. LBP1 aside...
CVG needs to shut up.
Most people that enjoy Japanese games, do so because they're different than Western games. Westernizing their games only takes away the uniqueness and charm of Japanese games. So then you get games like Lost Planet 2.
Dead Rising 2 is fine, because they kept the same exact formula(which was pretty simple in the first place and wasn't too Japanese per se)
