I was really hoping for this game to be a step in the right direction.
It's a shame.
Last decent Sonic game I'd have to say was Sonic Advance 3.
Isn't it basically "Fallout 3 Part II: New Vegas"?
All I know is that this game will more than likely be good.

But I thought it was awesome when I first got a PS3, being able to store and play music, movies, chat with friends and go on the interwebz in HD.
It was like all I ever needed in ONE system.
Pretty big jump from the PS2.
But as time went on, I noticed more people thinking of more and wanting more stuff from the system.
I'm pretty sure Sony will come up with more cool stuff for the PS4 and stop worrying for now.
Same here. I played MegaMan Legends on PS1. I was hoping it would come to consoles.
I'm not gonna spend $300 on a handheld. I'm happy with my current DS and I just don't care much for 3D right now.

3D is not a requirement to make the game. So a "$1500" 3DTV has nothing to do with it. Unless the devs really REALLY want and need to make it in 3D.
Hardly. If you judge a game by one review and take it as ultimate fact? Then yes, it is.
But it's an 8. It's not even that bad of a score. Still lower than what I believe this game deserves.

Which was scrapped, there's no way the actual GT5 that we know now, was ever going to be launch title.
The awesome lighting in GT5 is think is due to the use of ray-tracing.
Like not "full-blown" ray-tracing, but there is some use of it.
Exactly. And the date was also never announced from the the beginning. It was TBA until this year.
GT5 was never in development hell like Duke Nukem(11 or 12 years so far)
They put Crackdown up there? And Halo 3 instead of Reach?

Well there are 75mil Wiis sold. Most people have bought one. So it's kinda hard to keep selling at the same rate.
I don't think there will be a new Wii "HD", not in at least 2 years.
DK and Epic Mickey are coming out soon and Kirby just got a 9/10.
These will keep me busy for a little while until something new comes along.
Or GT5 :P

You don't need to play Gears 1 to play Gears 2. I would know.
I would also add that you don't need to play Uncharted 1 or Killzone 1(on PS2) to understand/enjoy the second games.
Unless it's a Metal Gear game. Then that's deeper :P

Polyphony had nothing to do with it.
They pretty much finished the game, but Sony wanted to have every game after October be updated to the new SKU. Which PD now had to change. They missed the production window by 3 days, so now the next release window is 3 weeks or so from the original date.
