no the taken king is better than the year one destiny. exotic weapon bounties, better (still not great imo) story. strikes that have mechanics and not just fight wave after wave to kill a bullet sponge boss. challenging, fun raid with extra challenges each week for powerful, guaranteed loot. events that make the game fresh ( sparrow racing, festival of the lost) with more coming free of charge, weekly pvp endgames activities ( trials ) with a iron banner every month. no way you can say it not...
