I wouldn't personally choose it for GOTY, but it was a very enjoyable experience. I imagine the sequel in the series will probably be very much a GOTY contender.
But I did have more enjoyable gaming experiences in the year. Dragon Age:I being one of the few that definitely gave me a more "robust" experience, so to speak.
Seems like a cool app, glad it's coming.
I played Watchdogs, Destiny and ESO, but didn't have a chance to try the last two.
I would say Watchdogs was okay, granted it may not have lived up to the hype but I found the experience fun. Destiny was a letdown but I realize other people enjoy it. And honestly, I have nothing kind to say about ESO.
I kind of hope they release a 1-3 HD collection for PS4, so I can try them all.
I only really played the first one a long time ago when I got a PS3, and wasn't a fan of Tomb Raider'esque games at the time.
Can't say I'm looking forward to Uncharted. Never really got into the series, but I'll definitely give it a rental.
This is why I first made the move to XB.
I had an individual steal my information and buy a lot of items from the psn (back on the ps3). Sony refused to clear the debt on my account despite the circumstances and put my acct on hold.
I'm still more fond of XB1 over PSN. I've never had an issue similar as that with Microsoft.
Edit: This is an actual event that happened for me, and I didn't say anything inherently negative towards S...
I have no interest in the game, but it seems hypocritical to call for censorship when most people can log into the GTA world, and literally ignore the missions and do the very same thing. Mass murder innocent civilians.
Don't censor Art, just decide whether or not it's appropriate for yourself.
I'm ashamed to say that I will buy this. I'm sorry ya'll.
Meh, I have no interest in it but it seems silly to start censoring violence. Where do we draw the line?
Inc MS hate.
Man, I am so over this game. I let myself get hyped and it just wasn't that great. It's not a bad game by any means, but it was just entirely too underwhelming.
Welcome to the world of opinions. Where people are allowed to dislike or like things.
I feel the same way.
So, I think I'll stop reading news about it and just see what it's about when it finally releases.
I would make an educated comment if I were willing to give Polygon clicks, but I'm not.
So,... Hi, everybody! *waves*
Are you serious? It's not even close to being up to the standard of games like Dragon Age, etc.
I mean, don't get me wrong, everybody is allowed an opinion but I don't think you'll get much support on this one.
I found it to be pretty lackluster but if people are enjoying it, I'm happy for them. Perhaps it's just not the game for me and I'm being overly critical.
I'm glad people who are interested in this game get a chance to play it if they only own a PS4.
But I do wish they would have worked on an HD or a version with slightly improved cut scenes, etc
How about that PS plus edition?
I would have hoped for 20 dollars, it would have expanded the Destiny universe by about a 1/3. But it doesn't.
It's a pretty lackluster expansion and it's already dividing those who bought it and those who didn't.
I can safely say that after this expansion, I'm now done with Destiny for good.
Even being a huge SF fan, I stopped paying attention to the Story after SF4 was released.
I guess I just don't play fighting games for the story. More so for the couch and online play.
