There have been a LOT of deals on Amazon as well and I personally think Amazon is a test bed for their new pricing.
I don't think the service will ever be free (that's just not the M$ way) but I do think we will see a $10-$25 cost reduction.
Rock * did a fantastic job with RDR but I don't see that GTA game play style working for Max Payne
I also don't care for Max's look or new setting.
They would really have to WOW me in order to get any interest from me. So far they haven't even remotely come close to doing so.
I honestly think with all the backlash that Rock * is revamping the game, that's why it keeps getting bumped back, who knows maybe they are listening to us an...
but to me that's not the point.
Just like with everything these guys will carry it too far and we'll be watching commercials during game loads because that was even suggested in some of those articles.

That said I think we are starting to see the heavy use of advertising in Games, various articles have been talking about this for a while.
Kinda of disappointing, I don't mind it too much as long as it's done subtlety but this blatant in your face massaging (Verizon/Energizer + Alan Wake)is sickening. There was even an Achievement associated with watching a Verizon commercial on an in game T.V. ...

Anyone that doesn't realize that both were done to appease shareholders needs to get a clue, I'm pretty sure the tech folks at Sony and M$ know that neither one will do that great and was a waste of their time and talent.
Bottom line the Shareholders of both companies see the $$$ Nintendo was raking in and insisted it was all to do with motion control and the casual gamer not realizing that the Wii was just this years "Toy" gimmick that everyone had to have....

Honestly I don't care who voices the new characters as long as they give a good performances.

But those scenes could also be something that was removed from the game due to space or whatever.
That said RDR is a fantastic game and if I had my druthers for the DLC I'd much rather play as John than Jack.

With the INCREDIBLE amount of detail this game has I couldn't see how it wouldn't have a few bugs.
To be honest I've 100% completed the SP and I only saw a few little instances of all those famous videos we've been seeing lately.
With that said I'll still give RDR a 10 out of 10.

I don't care if both packs went on sale tomorrow for 400MSP each I wouldn't buy them because of Activision's greed, I don't want any part of it.
But is it just me or did the graphics look outdated?
I mean sure there where some nice clean ones in there but look at how chunky the falling glass looked and the scene where the cars are skidding, the concrete also looked..strange.
The scene were the guy is kicking the person that is down also had old looking graphics.
Bottom line we've always seen cutscenes that usually blow the game play graphics away but I was unimpressed but those.
