IMO it's a solid 8.75
It would be nice if the area names were listed as the in game menu tells you how many orbs you are missing in a certain area.
The music, DVD and book industries have survived and they don’t have the potential in an aftermarket with DLC.
Bottom line Mr. game industry, used games are part of your industry so deal with it and quit your whining.
The thing that scares me is they are whining about it waaay to much lately and I have a feeling they are going to do something that will totally F things up.
as I feel like the game just kept getting better and better as the game went on. That and the 3 different endings played very nicely into wrapping the story up and creating the possibility for a sequel That I'd buy in a heartbeat.
For the life of me I don't know why this game has gotten some of the low scores it has gotten, I feel like some of these reviewers are getting burnt out on their jobs.
As someone who plays a ton of different kinds of games...
I'm baffled by some of the mediocre reviews it's getting.

AVP's got like Zero support online.
When I played it a few months back I loaded up the MP piece and it polled for 10 minutes before 1 other person showed up.
It's a shame too because AVP was actually a pretty decent game.

Granted Netflix is a nice touch but I already had a Netflix account.
In most cases I think they do but parents now a days are conditioned to give in to their kids because God knows if you don't let them have it and the kid pitches a fit In the store you risk the cops beating the crap out of you as an abusive parent, how dare you mentally abuse that poor child by not giving in to their every whim.

I don't disagree but at the end of the day devs need to be happy their game sold in the first place.
Unlike the DVD,CD and book industry, the game developer has additional ways to make revenue from a used game.
All those other industries have survived so I think the game developer will be fine too.
M-rated games need to be treated just like E-rated games as far as retailer should be concerned as I have never EVER seen inappropriate box art, sure some like Dead or Alive are suggestive but kids can see far more suggestive material on the covers of the mags at the checkout in the grocery store and no one seems to have an issue with that.
Bottom line parents need to parent their kids and politicians need to quit trying to create a Nerf world.

I wonder the same thing being if the reviewers and I played the same game.
I really wonder how much of game these guys are actually playing before they review them because IMO a lot of these scores lately have been off the mark.
It also aggravates me when they play it on the easiest setting and run through the game as fast as they can then claim it's too short.
I've just gotten in the habit of adding 3-5 hours on top of what most of these reviews claim...
