OK first and foremost developers need to start looking at themselves if their industry is so called "Dying".
1. Make a game that EVERYONE has to have day one and you will make gazillions with it.
2. Make a game SO GOOD that no one can part with it.
3. Make a game with high replay value.
4. Support said Super Duper game with Affordable and well worth DLC.

Having already beaten the SP and enjoying the Heck out of the MP I'd give the game a 7.75 out of 10.
