pretty much it in a nut shell.
when bc2 came out I bought one off d2d, EADM, and Steam.
where you buy it from didn't matter as long as you associated a cd key with your EA account.
I've installed bc2 on pc's and logged into my ea account and it never asked for my cd key as it was tied to my account. Pretty nifty imo. I'll more than likely get my copies from EA.
3d vision has been out for years...
even minecraft supports 3d
Expansion and dlc are completely different.
I could go to the store and buy an expansion not so with dlc. They are expected to provide pretty much new everything instead of the usual couple of maps, a weapon, or a 1 hour scenario that dlc provides. An expansion pack can be a full course meal. Dlc is usually a couple mozzarella sticks.
It'll be a tough sell but BF3 could do it

the appeal to this game is limited by your imagination. If you find the game boring then simply put. Your creative process has long since been severed.
EA is EA. Give them time. Should Battlefield destroy CoD, EA will be back on top of most douchebag publisher in the industry.
