MW2 is pretty much just scenes from all the best action movies in the last 10+ years all loosely tied together.

Crysis started off slow. REALLY slow. After the first month it was around 50k copies sold. It was labeled a flop for quite awhile actually until the 1 year mark.

A couple of things. A week before 402's announcement I said on here that there was a CoD hate train starting and it would soon be "kewl" to hate CoD much like everyone hates dragonball, or final fantasy 7 nowadays. a few weeks later. 402's infamous announcement.

Most people were expecting a great game. If you had followed the IW forums you would have seen the fallout from the people that didn't know they removed dedicated servers. Or didn't know that hacking would make a huuuuge comeback the way it did.
There were still masses of people that didn't hear 402's announcement a few weeks before release. Now that the whole of PC's CoD has...
