Comparing a decade old franchises sales to Halo, Gears, or Forza is straight silliness.
Gran Turismo 4 selling 10 million on a system that had an installl base over over 100 million..
Is a WHOLE lot different than Halo 3 selling 10 million with an install base that isn't even 1/5th of the PS2 install.
Compare generations to generations and in this generation Halo and Gears have been extreme...
It's not even close when you look at exclusives or Multiplats.
Halo 3 and Both gears generated 20 million in sales alone. Do your own math, how many exclusives on the PS3 would you have to use to catch up to the sales of those 3 alone.
As for Multiplatform, when you got the big games selling over a miilion more on the 360 you don't even need to tally to know the difference.
Call of Duty 4 did 3 million+ more on the 360

I own both systems too. I of course ran out to buy the best games on the PS3 that I could. I agree that Uncharted 1 and 2 are Tomb Raider to the 1 millionth power fun. Demon souls is so good that I stopped playing it until i can devote enough time to its ridiculously hard difficulty level.

The strategy that Microsoft has employed has guaranteed it's success time and time again this generation.
'Halo 3' alone is the biggest selling exclusive this generation. Nothing in ANY of Sony's first party studios even comes close to matching this game's success in any way.

Actually the biggest selling point for the PS3 is the Blu ray 1st and the games secondary. The main selling point for the 360 has been the games and Xbox Live secondary.
Call it babbling all you want, the 360 fans will be in gaming heaven in 2010. In fact, 2009 ended very strong and sees 360 fans with an impossible task of playing all of the great games that are out at the moment.

Comparing Uncharted 2 to Modern Warfare 2 is useless. They both offer two completely different experiences.
Uncharted 2 is the reason games like 'Tomb Raider' and 'Prince of Persia' need to be developed by Naughty Dog or forever hide in shame. Uncharted 2 had the spectacular set pieces, the blockbuster movie action sequences, and the incredible voice-over work. It's single will stand the test of time.
