agreed the drop from 60 to 30 can be jarring and will create judder, it will ruin the experience, trust me, its better to have it locked to 30 or 60!
maybe they mean that the cut scenes will be 30fps while the game play will be 60fps! that would be great, but if it is 60 with constant dips its not worth it! better to have it locked to either!

No my friend, battlefield 4 on ps4 is a true next gen game, with 60fps and 64 players how could u not call it next gen? i know it will also be on current gen, but the difference between current and next gen versions is massive! seriously the only reason i am even buying my ps4 at launch is for battlefield 4!

The key difference is power to watt ratio!
The consoles are connected to a mains and so can draw as much power or electricity as they want, but a phone or tablet with its small form factor has to conserve battery power, yes you can plug it into the wall, but again the small form factor will always dictate how much performance or how hard you can push the said gpu/cpu!

LOL the way the writer reacted is the way most do after experiencing the flawless combat of bayonetta, seriously this game runs like grease lightning, and is one of the best show cases that wii u is a true next gen console, bayonetta 1 while great, and one of my favourite combat action games on last gen, had severe problems running on ps3 compared to 360, yes now it runs fine, i have it on ps3.

EPIC BATTLEFIELD MOMENT!! this is exactly why cod will never compare to bf games, because every single match of bf is different and so dynamic, where as in cod its just the same stale,killstreak,auto aim assist and camping abuse in every match, cod no longer has a learning curve, its just a kids game, battlefield on the other hand is pure epic!

am on ps3 got the online patch at 12pm on the dot, however online is not working, obviously the servers are overloaded, how did rock star not anticipate this? they have broke records with sales, and so should have a rough idea how many users their are, and after waiting 2 weeks to play online, and then not being able too is annoying as hell!!

i had this problem a few times on both my ps3 consoles, the fatty and slim! to fix it just reset your router, and once it has a steady light, go into your ps3 internet settings and redo it all, just click auto for everything or manual for those of us with port forwarding, or using specific dns addresses, either way usually fixes it for me, then when i sign in its fine!
