Why isn’t Sony selling a PS5 with more/double storage for $50/$100 more
This makes no sense, there should be no reason for sub 1080p except for games with REAL next gen graphics getting the DLSS treatment. This is like saying the PS4 Pro runs a game at 900p
It’s not just a preference it’s a proven ergonomics fact, the left stick should accommodate vertical movement since it’s primarily used for forward movement.

Actually now that I revisit this image you cant really tell if the L3 for sure is split or unified however it definitely appears on the surface to be split, i.e. not zen 3

I would be content with 1080p - 1400p with better picture quality and physics and higher framerate.
VR is still it’s own special ecosystem that doesn’t come stock with console. I’m talking about hardware that’s there day 1 of my purchase that ties into everything being made moving forward and developers take that into account for the entire generation but im feeling you already figured that while reading my comment.
Controllers need to evolve, beyond feedback, the point and shoot mechanics are getting tired out there’s not much more that can be done with them, controllers need more tactical inputs kinda disappointed this gen didn’t strive for that I guess I’ll have to wait another generation *sigh*

That’s unfortunate since ryzen’s weakness is compute latency across cores which is supposed to be fixed with zen 3 with its unified design but we got zen 2 in next gen consoles. Should’ve waited another 6 months - year would’ve been worth it.
Next gen looks great but I think 1 more year in the oven with zen 3, SSD cost lowered and a little more RT hardware and customizations would’ve been worth it, especially Zen 3.

That’s fine I don’t need you to get it. It’s just a bigger disappointment in this case bc console generations only come like every 5-8 years and games won’t be made different unless the hardware launches with that innovation unlike phones which are updated every year.
I do know and that’s nice but not enough of what I’m talking about. But that’s the thing with innovation, people don’t know the potential of it and call others that see flaws dumb until someone does it, until then people like you say everything’s fine...*a la iphone*
