While I'm sure some people lie about having games early, it really isn't rare for others to actually have the game. I had Modnation racers an entire two weeks before release!
I personally haven't played online yet, but I hear it is way better than the offline portion. I'd recommend giving it a try before making a final decision.
I sure wish they would add at least $10 credit for Twisted Metal. I really want that game!
A demo will be released before the game ships, so hopefully you can get a feel for it that way.

I've actually felt the impact of the MOAB in real life. Used to live near Eglin AFB in florida where they tested it...exploded miles away and it still shook the whole house for about ten seconds haha.

haha I had the exact same problem! I got BF3 on Tuesday, the exact same day this was announced. Love BF3 and am sure I'll equally be loving GTA5

Well I can't speak for everyone, but the thing holding me back is money. I would love to own a lot more of these great games, but unfortunately between college, bills, and other necessities of life, I am forced to choose the select few that I want the most.

It is somewhat comical when you think of it that way. I am a christian myself and am looking forward to playing this game. I personally don't agree with same sex marriage based on my beliefs, but in the game, as well as in real life, it is a choice whether you want to participate in that lifestyle or not.
