Buy both consoles. I'm currently playing Rise of The Tomb Raider and Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection. Both are great. Both has pros, haven't found anything negative on either one. Great year for gaming.
I know that bud, and I'm not trying to start a console war, but when you own both consoles, and your trying to pull/root for a series on a particular console (X1, 720p), but there competitor produces something better (PS4, 900p), I'm probably going to buy the better quality product. Especailly when your playing on a 55" LED. 1080p/900p always outranks 720p and it ain't even close. Maybe on a small monitor/tv it doesn't matter. But on 55" LED, there is a noticable dif...
It was. How come Frostbite can't do it with this series on X1? Too much movement on screen at once maybe? I don't know.
It's the players fault in this matter. Atleast on the microtransactions side of the DLC. If they would have stood firm and not purchased any, developers would not have seen the income it can bring in. Since everyone jumped and started spending those extra dollars on games years ago, companies started getting dependant on that extra money. Meaning there stocks rose, the companies themselves were more valuable now and they grew there companies even more from the extra income.
This is my game of the year. The Witcher 3 had way too much dialogue for my liking and The Witcher combat system was way too weak. I always felt distant from the fight. You would perform the same "double fist on sword, 360 degree swipe" like a thousand times. Coulnd't get a finisher to save my life.
So yeah, Bloodboren was deffinatly my Game of the Year. Waiting on The Old Hunters C.E. strategy guide as well. Should be here two weeks after DLC is released.
Frostbite is most impressive......just not on Xbox One. Frostbite has been sh*t for Xbox One. They can't produce anything over 720p. Guess what resolution Battlefield 3 ran on my Xbox 360? 720p.
Frostbite needs praise for making nice looking games, but they also need some flack for hitting the wall on Xbox One.
You get all the DLC cars until they decide to release 25+ more that are not included in the pass, six months down the road. Thats what happened to me with Forza Horizon 2. Purchased there car pass and VIP pass and still wasn't able to download all there DLC cars.
When Forza Horizon 2 costs you $150 for all cars and tracks, thats when I stop buying games from them. I didn't buy Forza 5 or 6 because of these practices. Turn 10 your just as bad as the other money hungry...
Okay, I bought COD: BO3 for PS4 on 11/6, I did not buy Fallout 4 on 11/10, I bought Rise of The Tomb Raider 11/10..................I'm just laughing because BO3 is really good and Rise of The Tomb Raider as well. Great games.
The biggest insult is the fact that if you want all the cars/tracks on this game, it will probably cost you around $150 for everything. That is how Forza Horizon 2 was. They should offer a true season pass thats includes everything instead of the car pass they do offer which does not.
Everyone complains about the microtransactions, but says nothing about how they nickel and dime you to death all year long by adding cars/tracks thats not included in there season pass. But For...
I don't think I've ever heard of Fallout 4 and Assassin's Creed: Syndicate in the same sentece before.
Naughty Dog in general is excellent story tellers. The Last of Us, Uncharted. I've been entertained with the Nathan Drake Collection.
Don't buy either. Buy Bloodborne with the DLC and Dark Souls 3 later. :)
Is it really considered competition if I buy all the consoles?
The game on PS4 looks pretty good especailly the campaign. I'm having fun on it on a hard setting in co-op. It brings something we usually don't see in a COD. Its actually quite entertaining. My friend and I are always "WoWing" over something that is going on. The multi player is also a big change this year with the additions like specialists. I have been changing my character all the time just to get a feel for each one. The best part of the game though to me is the zombies...
Since resolution doesn't matter, I'll take my game at 1440p, 1080p, 900p, and you take yours at 720p, since it doesn't matter to you. Its even more funny when both of these cosoles were launching, resolution was everthing. But now they just settle for 720p.
When your playing on a 55" LED, resolution matters.
Dice is deffinatly doing something right. When you make a game that is the same resoultion as the previous console and there players are happy about it and not only that, praises it. Yes, Dice is deffinatly doing something right.
Don't be mad about storm troopers with no helmets, be mad you got no single player.
"We don't need a single player, multiplayer is great."
You must have not played the beta then or have played any Dice game in the last three years. How is that launch going to go again? They are still patching out Battlefield 4 for crying out loud. On top of everything else, Dice cannot produce anything over 720p for Xbox One. Will Star Wars Battlefront run o...
I totally agree. They never do this. I would love to have a Harcore Team Deathmatch for DLC maps when they release. They never give this option and I never get to play the DLC maps on Hardcore unless you get lucky and get one in regular Hardcore Team Deathmatch lottery pull.
Black Ops 3 is great. I loved Black Ops 2 as well. While I'm at it, Black Ops 1 was great and World at War. If only Treyarch could make every COD and we got it only once every three years.......I would be fine with this. The zombie mode alone in the new Black Ops 3 will hold this game up.....well the multi player is fun......and the new single player co op is good as well.
Best COD I have seen since......Black Ops 2 and it might even be better depending on what other zom...
Basically the only reason I haven't bought Fallout 4 is from me being so busy with other games. Assassin's Creed:Syndicate, Cod: Black Ops 3, Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, Rise of The Tomb Raider, Super Mario Maker, The Withcher 3, Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection. I'm like maybe half way through The Witcher 3 and I just thought it would be a "Witcher" sin if I started Fallout 4 without atleast finishing The Witcher 3. Not only that it has the first install...
