Yeah, I'm holding off on a 4KTV atleast until holiday or 2017 and thats only if they are gonna utlilize 4K content properly at that time. I'm not meaning 4K movies or tv shows either. LOL.
Okay, so by them lowering the price of the X1 to $279 now is killing it off? I just paid $230 for a new PS3 last week. They are making the X1 price for the people that can't afford that $350 amount. Yes, we know new consoles are coming down the pipe. They have been for the past 30 years. Nothing has changed.
I own Dead Rising 3 and liked it pretty good. For me its this.
Days Gone > Dead Rising 4
I'm just more interested in Days Gone than I am with Dead Rising 4.
Xbox Scorpio and PS4 Neo is still easier to develope for than PC.
That would be awesome. I'm running through Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin right now on PS4 and its 60 fps is really nice. Not saying I didn't like Bloodborne in 30 fps or Dark Souls for that matter because I love those games. But lets say with the upgrade they do give 60 fps to games like Bloodborne and DSIII........oh my. Take my money and take it now.
Just hoping they up the 4.5 teraflops to match the Scorpios 6. Yes, I'm willing to spend the extra mo...
Isn't the 4.5 teraflops rumored anyways for Neo. Nothin is official right? How do we not know if won't be more? I'm sure after seeing the Scorpio......Sony is rethinking its approach. If they are not...........its only a loss for the Sony guys including myself. Yes, I would rather have 6 teraflops than 4. Why not? Who wouldn't?
B.C. with PS3 would be nice for starters. The PS4 the past two years turned into the most user-unfriendly console there is.........and somehow Microsoft turned the X1 and future Scorpio into the best user friendly console there is.
Sony the past two years:
- I can download a PS2 game on PS4, but I can't play a PS2 disc in the console.
- I can stream a PS3 game on PS4, but I can't download or play a PS3 disc in the PS4.
...
This looked better than Dead Rising 4 to me. Even if its linear. I own Dead Rising 3 as well.
I'm a huge Sony fan, but I'm not gonna "tighten the bolts under there desk" for there E3 showing. Sony showed off some games that interested me a little. But after hearing about Scorpio.............and nothing regarding Neo........it was kind of a let down.
Also regarding "selling points", Sony would have automatically sold me a PS4 Neo if they would have talked about it. I know they are not ready yet to show off visuals. But info would be nice....
So its a two playthrough max and then I set it down to collect dust. Check. LOL.
I have no issue with linear games.......I just have about 150 hours of less playtime with them then I do others. Uncharted 4 was great and all, but 30 hours later (for two playthroughs) and its never getting picked back up again. The mp is okay. But not 200 hours worth of okay. Rise of The Tomb Raider was the same minus the mp. I liked both games, but anything linear, I gotta wait atleast a yea...
I'm holding out till atleast holiday of 17' to get the 4K tv. Those Black Friday deals should be nice. I have researched tvs now for around five or so years. Just by waiting another year will save you on average of $500-$700 for a 4K tv. So if you can hold out longer, more money in your pocket and more games on your shelf. How many games can you purchase just by using the money you saved when you purchased your 4K Tv because you waited just a little longer? A good bit I imagine.
It looks more linear than an Uncharted game.
I'm glad they are doing it too. PC gaming needs a little shove every once in a while.
I think the Sorpio is a beast. I just need some games that will persuade me to buy one. I guess I have over a year to research new games that will be coming out. I've had an X1 since launch. The last two games I bougtht for X1 were Rise of The Tomb Raider and Quantum Break. I wish I was into Halo and Gears of War still. I want the new PS Neo as well. but I know it won't be as hard to decide to buy or not. I've bought probably 15 games just in the past 18 months for that console. I...
I'm not jumping out to buy it either. But its deffinalty worth a look.
The devs want Scorpio and Neo to be ready when alot of these games land. I would say Holiday of 2017 is when alot of these games are gonna release. They have said already that even with Scorpio and Neo, its still easier developing for two brand new consoles than it is to develope for PC. Devs want that new hardware, remember, its the hardware they asked for. Gives us plenty of time to go out and shop around for a 4K tv as well. I'm waiting for holiday of 2017 myself for the 4K tv. They ar...
Alot of players are critisizing this game already, calling it generic. Generic compaired to what? 1080p Snowboarding on N64? How many snow boarding games have came out in the past generation? This doesn't look bad at all. Yeah, maybe after six months of playing it you might get tired of it but how many games are like that these days? Alot. I will probably have more time on this game than I ever will others. Take blockbusters like Uncharted 4 for instance. I'm going to play it a max of...
Atleast we know we will have atleast three decent games coming down the pipe from this great developer. Interesting to see where it takes them. I never played an Armored Core before, so I'm up for anything. Its kind of funny I've never really been into "Mechs" you could say. Never was really interested in TitianFall or anything. But as soon as you throw From Software's name in with Mechs......I'm instantly interested. I still want nothing to do with TitainFall 2, LOL...
Forza = one of the greatest racing series ever.
Forza = the worst season pass deal out of any developer for any game.
VR is here to stay......in a far second place to PC/Console. As long as the VR guys relize that, we're all good here. We get it, your pumped for the new headset. But VR guys have to get something as well. The guys thats not interested could care less if it ever makes it and pretty much hopes it dies off quick. Why????????? Because we need our devs working on PC/Console titles, not putting our games aside to think about VR titles.
If VR makes it big it only means bad thi...
