Everyone cried when there was compatition to steam, seams pretty similar to the console wars. I don’t understand either,I want people fighting for my money
Thankfully I’m in construction to many pussies out there
What exactly has Bobby done? Is he accused of negligence or actually doing something? Have a feeling this is just a bunch of losers hating in the successful guy
Seems like a bad strategy to have so much out there so long before the actual release. I’m getting it anyway but the hype has definitely died down it seems since we’ve been talking about it for so long
@porkchop because they’ve been complaining that $60 isn’t enough for AAA games for awhile now and everytime someone puts a bunch of mt’s in a AAA game people raise hell. Of course halo infinite’s not going to be loaded with mt’s since there still trying to get gamepass going. People already talk like there getting the games for free on gamepass so I’m sure it’ll be a lot easier to convince people to pay mt’s on gamepass games .just watch, I bet anything they got a 5 or so year plan to phase i...
As soon as gamepass becomes full of gaas is right when I jump ship. That’s been my fear from the beginning that it was just a Trojan horse to get people comfortable with MT’s in AAA games. We’ll look back 10 years from now wishing games where just $70
Man I don’t understand the hype for botw, I made myself play 20 hours before finally calling it quits, the game was boring as hell. I really wonder if it didn’t have the zelda name would it been as successful. I’m a zelda fan btw but man that game seemed like such a miss to me
Man it’s crazy how much Mobil makes. Games that take 1/100th the effort to make making way more then AAA games. Sucks wish people would stop supporting micro transactions
I’m an Xbox guy and hate forza. Sucks because everyone loves it so there’s not many other racers coming out. I like starting with a bad car and slowly upgrading it. There was a game on sets Dreamcast I forget where u just went around the same track challenging people to street races and upgrading ur car. Loved it
I don’t understand how it could be profitable right now. There overheads huge. They bring in 4billion a year in subscriptions assuming everyone is paying full price. The actavision deal alone cost 70 billion. Plus all the overhead for 30 studios and 1,000’s of employees. I’m afraid of what gamepass will become wants they have the market share and switch to profit mode. Man I can’t imagine the stress he’s under to make this actually profitable
😂 games journalist are so full of it
Because it’s hard to find good help and from personal experience that’s what it’s always been. Pretty sure I’d win that bet with my educated opinion. Plus they’re qa testers so probably not overly ambitious if that’s a career decision
I agree scaling ruins games for me. One of the funnest things is the first time encountering a high level boss and getting smoked only to come back later for revenge. It just makes the hamster wheel that much more obvious
So they’re mad people got laid off that the company no longer needed? I’d bet the people they wanted to lay off where bad workers anyway
What union are you in? My buddy works for Kellogg’s and is union. They went on strike and the next day there was a bunch of illegals doing there job yet unions are pro democrat
I don’t know seeing how the teachers union is pretty much refusing to work and protecting crappy employees I can see how people hate unions
I hear enough of what they think about stuff that has nothing to do with video games to know I don’t value their opinions
It’s looking awesome right now for Microsoft but if they don’t manage these studios correctly there value will plummet overnight. Making sure 30 something studios are managed right with some of them being already having a bunch of disgruntled employees is not easy task . Watch them just cancel that studio to send a message
Microsoft has a lot of headaches on its plate now
Fromsoftw games make you realize how empty the other AAA games how’ve become, especially the ones getting recycled every year
