Only play switch so going to speak on what I know. Surprised I’m alone in this. If I can’t completely experience a game for what I think it’s worth I won’t touch it. These mobile games that should be $20 that you could dump thousands into and it’ll still try to get more from you are a rip off. Seems like that’s where gamings heading and if so I’m finding a new hobby
If switch starts to look like the Mobile market with free to play crap I’m done (p2win or never ending micro transactions). Nintendo should be curating this crap, elder scroll blades shouldn’t be on there either

I’d say Sony still has the upper hand with studios. Most of Microsoft’s are double AA. Really shows how lopsided it was before microsofts hiring spree
I’d rather pay once upfront then rent a system plus pay for games. It’s not like game consumes are that expensive
It would have to be an I insanely better deal for me to support google. After hearing that secret recording of google trying to influence politics and workers there talking about witch hunts they’re probably not getting my money. Hopefully government steps in and breaks them up also

The market for its very small, so to recoup the research and development the price is higher once the cost is spread out over less sales.
Crackdown 3 after a month is pretty much forgotten about. I’m assuming scalebound was a worse game so probably not much of a loss
