This game is going to be mediocre, Avp 1+2 on Pc had plenty of horror and atmosphere, this one does not. Be ready for a letdown.
Yeah that's annoying, I think they want you to use the bow (small weaker animals take 1 arrow that you can re use) but so far the game is great, no real issues on my aging HD6950. It's demanding on hardware because of the size of the world and all the wildlife AI etc.
Yeah the frames don't lie, when the 360 version dipped to 46fps the WiiU dipped to 26fps. Its really sad considering that it's the old non demanding COD engine thats not even 1080p.
So glad i cancelled my WiiU preorder my I7 and quite old HD6950 will probably be able to emulate the WiiU.
Let's see what MS and sony have to show us in 7 months at E3 2013.
Yes I think anyone that knows tech believes that the next consoles will aim for 1080p 60fps, decent AA, high rez textures and maybe 1080p 60fps each eye 3D.
I will be playing this on PC as the screen tearing on consoles in really bad.
The next consoles will not be $600 this time as that would really make the WiiU tempting in 2013 and Ms and Sony wont allow that. Also Nintendo has let us down once again it will be like this gen where the WiiU gets the cut down ports from 3rd party devs, only Nintendo's first party titles will save the WiiU.
I cancelled mine on Sunday, I will wait for a big price cut and some actual decent 3d games like Zelda, Galaxy, Metroid, FZero.
Or in future if Dolphin can emulate it we can just buy the gamepad.
Yeah, so glad we in the UK have 12 more days until launch, if the tech specs are also weak then I think I'll cancel my preorder too, I can wait for more games and a price cut. Got plenty of PC/PS3/WII and 360 games I still need to play.

Sounds like the thermal paste on your CPU and GPU has dried up and is not conducting heat to the heatsinks (mayor cause of YLOD) clean of the old paste and apply some quality compound and it should fix it.

I'm glad the Wii U is out 12 days in the US before the UK, if the specs are really poor then I may just cancel my pre order and wait for more games and a price drop. I need someone to dear down the console soon. It better be at least twice as powerful as my PS3 but I know it will be nowhere near my PC.
