Titanfall 2 really should have used a new engine. Looked like it's still using the old COD engine with minor updates.
PS5 is gonna release 2020 latest with 10+ TF, that much is sure already.
Why would it be more powerful..?! Wouldn't that alienate 20 million early adopters in the first place?!

MS would have bragged about it if it were true. And it would have alienated their early adopters anyway.

Especially since 4K won't be a real selling point for years to come because not many people have 4K TVs yet and the upgrade isn't even that noticeable!
More and more people are gonna buy a PC instead of an XBox, that's how. That way people are gonna have the power to upgrade when they want instead of being abandoned three or four years into the console cycle again. Especially since their aren't gonna be any exclusives anymore. PC on the other hand HAS!
That's exactly how conferences should be held...no filler talk, just new games and gameplay after gameplay. They could have easily made the conference twice as long with games and even exclusives releasing soon but they decided not too. NEO was never to be shown, they stated that weeks ago already. Probably gonna happen at Playstation Experience later this year.
They decided to keep it short and epic...probably because MS bragged in advance that theirs is gonna be extra long..and...
Sony already stated NEO will never be a necessity. All games will run on both consoles.

Of course it's noticeable. Still many people game at a distance of more than 3m/9 feet where it simply becomes less of a factor. It certainly isn't an essential upgrade. I live in Germany, one of the most developed countries, and a lot of TV stations don't even deliver content in HD let alone 4K.
