None of those were a problem for me.

The insanely easy combat difficulty was.

I am more afraid of cliffs than any enemies in that game. I use to try to kite as many as I can to fight to make it as hard as possible. You can be circled by 25 guys in that game, and not break a sweat.

I agree with the first reason.

The second reason I'm not convinced. If they do have a better network security which I don't doubt actually, is it that much better to stop hackers who would want hack it to the extent they did to Sony?

The last one I don't agree with. These hackers target PSN because they don't want their Live subscriptions to go to waste for a week? PSN wasn't attacked because it was free or easy. It was because they pissed...

Who the fuck is leaping for joy about this? I don't see people anywhere praising this situation. I've seen a-lot of criticism.

I'm not happy PSN is down, and I hope Sony takes good measures to make sure this doesn't happen again, but I understand the situation and the decision to shut down the network.

They didn't give a warning because they didn't expect a security breach. It's a reactive decision.

(Not at reply)I think people are forgetting that this isn't a server issue, or a problem with PSN not being as structured as XBL.. PSN was shut down on purpose by Sony to secure their Network and protect against information leaks. Very different situations.

and this article reeks of saltiness.

Hey if you'd have that much success in the NBA you'd be happy too. *Swish*

Off-topic, but I've see 2 other people just today with the same exact avatar as me. Nice to see some good taste. *Swish*

Not when it's back online, aside from security.

Thinking optimistically, this fiasco may "push" them to add some new features to quell some of the angry/disappointed whatever in the coming year.

No that I expect it, just thinking happy thoughts. :D

Day Four of PSN outage-Journal Entry #35

As I lay and my room, slowly looking at the digital clock as the minutes pass by. As every minute of anguish and misery passes, I wonder how long I'll last as my insatiable appetite to play Warhawk grows. Soon I fear I may end it soon, as I cannot bear suffer this drought of joy any longer. For any of those reading this, please don't think less of me. Take pity, as my only joy in this w...

Nice to see James Chen writing for IGN.

I've been watching WNF for a while now, and I gotta say Jwong and Floe have been tearing it up. Viscant is looking scary too now that he came into the picture. Never heard of Genghis before Marvel, nice to see some new blood stepping up.

I always read articles I'm interested in fully before responding seriously. One of the many "Things we'd like to see at E3 in our opinion", not so much.

I wonder how many news articles will be about the PSN outage next Saturday after it's been back online for a week.

I wasn't actually expecting to see Starhawk/Warhawk2. Now That I did, I can approve this article.

Although I didn't actually read the rest of it.

PS, Give me a Current gen MH Capcom. Just do it.

"Okay, the real reason PSN went down is because we were preparing the servers for cross game video chat.

SURPRISE."

Figures shit like this gets over 500 degrees. Something about the internet dwellers and getting up in arms over religion, even some over done a-million times satire piece so I can read people spout and preach they're own agendas on a game site. I thought this shit was only common on gamefaqs.

Maybe we'll get some real news today...

Battlefield on PC run at high settings BETTER look better than any console game. It would be embarrassing if it didn't.

Kinda why I didn't buy this either.

Even if true, it's this guy's opinion, and you have to take into account that he's probably putting such a negative spin on it because he's sour and trying to get back at the company.

You actually have a point. Player count really affects how vehicles will be used. Warhawk is a good example, it had 32 players, yet still had A-LOT of infantry deadspots since half your team was in the air(they had to be, without air superiority you lost as Warhawks are so good), the action pretty much moved from base to base(not dis-similar to goldrush in BF) and wasn't really spread out. Eucadia, Vaporfield, Omega Factory are good examples. The maps that it wasn't so bad on usually ...

That comment regarding MK is so ignorant I lol'd. MK is one of the few fighting games that has changed it's core engine(which is bad) so many times that you might as well lump them into their own series. Hardly the same game you've been playing for 14 years, unless you haven't actually been playing them.

Hope this includes competitive game streams. I actually might hop on with some friends.

Sony is sponsoring EVO too. Put that shit up there
