I have 2 PS3's and if I can't get content on both I'll stop buying it. I bought one downloadable game on the Wii and once I found out I couldn't take my memory card to my niece and nephews house to play with them I quit buying downloadable games on the Wii.
I love the dualshock, they need to keep it. They could have an alternative controller (not 3rd party) but keep the dualshock.
I'd love to know how? I was planning to wait a few months until it dropped to $10-20, but I'll gladly pick it up now for that price
I agree, it had its flaws but the concept is great and if they learn from the flaws of the first one they could make one hell of a game. I got it because I love shooters but wanted more out of them, as someone who's not really into rpg's this was a good introduction to the genre. I look forward to playing deus ex when it drops to $10-20, I rarely buy any games at $60 anymore.
I don't normally go to gamestop, but I did for this deal. I got fight: lights out a move controller, a nav controller, and a Sharp shooter for $70, and I got the sports champion bundle from a local game store earlier that day for $50. I wish I had the money to go get more move and nav controllers while they are on sale, but I'm sure this sale will happen again this year.
I've read the same thing many times in the last week from articles here on n4g. I don't see how you could have missed these articles if your following the vita.
Here's a link
http://www.1up.com/news/vit...
I don't have a link on hand but its been all over n4g over the last week or two, almost every article I read about the vita's features said it. They did say game saves would require a memory card, but SOME game UPDATES and SOME DLC. Some games will not need a memory card at all and some will depending on what you download for the game.
What I would really like is for a retail copy to come bundled with the physical copy and a downloadable copy for a few bucks more. I really like having physical copies, but I'd also like to put a few of my favorites on one card and head out.
Sony said that not all game updates will be able to be saved to the game cartridge, and that a memory card would be needed for some game updates and dlc. I just wonder if the game updates that won't fit onto the game cartridges will be mandatory to be able to play (like the PS3) multi player, or even single player.
The servers and bandwidth aren't free though
Edit: wrong topic
This is what I do as well, you don't have to wait long for most games. Call of duty doesn't drop much, and first party games take upto about 6 months but most multiplat games are half price within 2-3 months. I paid $10 for blur after 2 weeks
I assumed they would be $40 but that article says $60, this is the first I've seen about vita game prices
Man $60 for a portable game? I rarely pay that for PS3 games. Will they still be $10 cheaper after 2 weeks when the retail copy drops $10, or when retail is half price after 2 months? Between the overpriced memory, the high cost of games and the high cost of the system (I realize the system is worth it but its still high) I don't see myself getting this for awhile, which is a shame because I already had a pre order for one but I cancelled and used the money for a few PS3 games and access...
One accessory I would love to see is a dualshock grip with extended battery like the one that was available for the psp, but it would be better if it were made by Sony instead of some off the wall brand.
Yeah, we must have 4 cases/pouches. A smart gamer would also buy a case that can hold at least a few games (they are small enough that 5 or more should fit in a vita case without adding much bulk) and not need the extra card case. The usb cable may come with it, but the ac charger definitely will so why buy another? If your gonna buy another charger it should be a car charger or a car/wall charger (those are perfect for traveling)
I'll wait until we have an adapter that let's me use my 32gb micro SD card
Their link won't open for me and I can't find this sale on the gamefly site. Anyone have a working link, or know how to find it?
Well its gonna be at&t so you won't go over your 2 gb limit because you'll never have signal, at least not were I live. I hope Sony can work out some kind of deal with them but I don't see that happening.
