A knee jerk reaction like releasing a new console would be an even bigger disaster for Nintendo. As it stands the Wii U is their best idea. When your best idea doesn't work, than your in a bad position.
Instead of wasting money and resources on making a console on par with their competition, it might be time to partner up with someone, that way they can spent more time on making great games rather than worry about getting a piece of hardware into people's home's. ...
I wouldn't say it was money ill spent because most TV apps on Xbox were original in that consoles never actually had them before Microsoft started shoveling them into their service. Although now Sony has the ability to include the same service and probably at a fraction of the cost that Microsoft had to pay to get it.
So maybe it was money ill spent. :/
I had a conversation once with my friend about how Microsoft's Xbox division and how its 5x's l...
Its a very tough ship to sail, I can't make heads of tails as which direction they could go. I've read a few articles dealing with projected sales and what they actually made, its looking bad.
Its really just a mediocre game at best, a overdeveloped tech demo at worse. It has a lot of glaring issues but there is something to Knack that seems like it could of been a more interesting game.
Honestly, I wish someone sat down and redesigned a lot of the game to make it into something special.
Enemies shouldn't be able to kill the player so easily. The story had pretty good idea going for it but execution was a bit off. The voice work was actually g...

I do hope Sony resupplies all markets before InFamous Second Son, that's the one game they have that has the most buzz circling around it. Would be sad if it was released with no consoles for buyers to play it on.
Seems like the market hitched itself to the 3DS rather than the Wii U.
-Foxtrot, You raised hope in my heart that should not have been raised. I've always wanted to play as Poseidon/Namor/Aquaman(the cool one).

Now I really do hope that power is in this game.
Its very odd that there will not be a update to change this issue. As they already have the tech there to change the color, would it be so hard to build on that code read a game's use of the feature and disable if its not going to be used?
Would help them shave off excessive electric use come time for the eco-friendly console judgement.
BUUURRRRRNNNNNNNNNNNNNN!!
Gaint Bomb had a pretty good conversation about Steam Greenlight, glad to know that Newell understands negative side and wants to do something about changing the service.
Seriously needs a revamp, that way people don't get scammed by incomplete products.
He didn't even bother to list some of the incredible indie games that came out in 2013. Dark Souls?! Really guy?
Its doing better now because of this sort of support from Sony. Which is helping it stand out as a unique and interesting device.

Whenever anyone says something bad about 'Last of Us', I think about the ending and smile politely.
God damn that ending was the best.
Kickstarter guys? Would be a ton of people who would be willing to help.
I'm 100% sure the PS4 Uncharted Title will be jaw dropping. Naughty Dog had a stressful time programming Last of Us, not due to their own limitations but the limitations they reached with the PS3.
Seeing this new generation's update in raw power, we're going to see some brilliant work from them, I would say sky's the limit but its more at skyscraper height.
:D
I'm have a feeling this is false. If anyone has been keeping up with the Oculus Rift, you'd see all the hard work they have been putting into that tech to get it good enough to be accepted by the mass market.
Its not something you can walk into a tech building and say, "Make this." Its something you have to devote years of behind the scenes frustration, trying to get everything to be perfect.
Latency issues, resolution issues, screen tearing...
I came into how crippling Sequelitis can be to a franchise, when Giantbomb started discussing Assassin's Creed in their last podcast.
Now, they only had a few bad things to say, mostly how its a fun pirate game but a really boring Assassin's Creed title.
They need to re-imagine the Assassin's gameplay mechanics and create a new fun way to play these games, instead of putting essentially the same product out every year but with new features.
The action looks really impressive.
I'm really skeptical about the 6v6 side of this game, as the 'Grunts' seem really unresponsive to the situation.
Quite a few people keep saying that they will just 'get it on PC' but rationally speaking they might be getting the better game. As I can easily see a mod release changing the player count from 12 to 32.
Even if Respawn Entertainment says 6v6 is ideal, I remember last year EA...
