My conclusion on the issue is that the cost of games will grow as to accommodate for competing with games that turn in revenue worth risking high budgets.
Meaning if games can make 1 billion dollars, like GTA V, well your going to see companies aim at that target with everything they have.
Its worth pointing out that video games is a growing industry as well, while we may see some huge losses, we see huge gains as well.
Seems like the Gamecube to me, as its games are solid but the console itself isn't appealing to a wider demographic.
For clarity, I mean that its not flying off the shelves. Rather it has a set install base that is picking it up for the games that they know are good, rather than getting it for games they don't know are good but are excited to try anyways.
2 Positive things said here
1. Valve is on the right track with this VR Product, it an improved version of the Oculus Rift
2. "Crystal Cove..." says "we’re probably two years away from a really solid product." Which means two years before we all get to have a grand new experience open up to us the gamers.
Hell its about time
I believe it is, from the way people have been talking about that game, it seems to have captivated a significant audience. As it looks to be a fun sandbox superhero game.
Good. Its great to hear that people are standing up against King.com. As they recently filed suit against the small indie team who made The Banner Saga over the word 'Saga'.
I do hope these guys win against King.com, who is clearly a negative element in gaming and has no problems with being underhanded to gain more money.
I wouldn't equate Battlefield to Halo or vise versa. They both stand on their own feet, as great multiplayer experiences.
In DanielGearSolid's case. They may have some crossover in look at face value, since it is made by the fathers of Modern Warfare, yet they have a lot more control additions.
Even than “We spent a lot of time prototyping and trying to figure out what would be fun." They wanted more from than game than hitting the essentials, th...
Actually without Shinji Mikami, it seems like it is too hard for Capcom to nail down. Their best attempt was Leon's story in RE6.
:/
Invest in a PC, it pays off, as you get to have more fun. Modding your game, responsive controls, higher quality graphics and get go on a spending spree come Steam Sale season.
:)
Would of been great if you could Customize Titans, would love to roll in with a 'Gypsy Danger' Titan.
Actually there isn't a Xbox 360 version listed
Edit - Ha, I thought we were talking Witcher 3, oh well I need sleep, later.
Oh man, I was like "Next Gen LBP!?" but its only a keychain. Arrrgh, why do I do this to myself?
Rate of Manufacturing each individual aspect, assembling and than shipping can be slow. Its impressive that they already made and sold 4.2 million within time frame of under 2 months.
Japan still hasn't gotten their share.

If I wasn't so lazy I would actually make a point about the Wolf of Wall Street but eh, I don't mind swearing. As long as it flows and not just used childishly.
Some food for thought, historically the most provoking statements don't use any swear words and even some of the best one liners in movies have...
They had one bad year, it happens.
Can we change "The 10 most..." to "Our 10 most..."
Destiny isn't even on this list and that game has a lot going for it. While those Final Fantasy titles are pretty much locked in as to what they are going to be about.
You know this looks good.
I read this as "5 Unannounced games Nintendo should make right now", was really happy a Nintendo fan was going to come in and support Nintendo by asking for great games that people would buy.
Than come in and find another one of the "I know how to run a profitable business" articles.

I only wish we could wait till the story of Nintendo is written before we say they're dead. We have a whole year to see if they can change course.
Its easy to say "I know the answer!" when your on the sidelines. Its more difficult to admit that the answer isn't simple in this case.
The market hasn't shown up for Nintendo and you can't force them to show up either.
Some look'd good, others not so much, great job all together.
:D
