I mostly agree with but not one game you listed cost 60-70 bucks at launch. Some are even free or just an add on.
+ well said.
The driving mechanics looked pretty arcady when they first revealed the game. Once you hit another car it would instantly explode. It looked a little off and stupid. They came out and said it was only to showcase the explosions in the beginning of marketing but since then i've seen nothing new.
I would search the original video for you but my internet connection is not reliable at this moment :o
Maybe you find the video by searching Mafia 3 driving + e...
maybe it's a post apocalyptic mad max styled zombie survival experience ^^
I agree on the title but without knowing anything more i can live easily with just knowing that it is finally coming after month of speculation.
Finally we will see how the hole "explosions" controversy will play out. The setting could be great and i also liked the main protagonist as they first showed the game but damn the driving looked arcady as heck. Hopefully they improved the game.
That just wont make up for lying straight to their consumers faces trough misleading pr.
And they mostly use their Stores for gathering customer data to sell them to third parties.
While i wont dismiss fanboys hating on the game some criticism towards it is actually pretty valid. Remedy had to deal with technical limitations and too many cut's in the gameplay department to make the game they imagined. It's just not that good of game. 7.8 from me.
That's the same reason i bought an x1 but then they decided that they should release the game on pc after month and month of advertising it as an exclusive.
Now my girlfriend has a new console to watch movies with.
Dude seriously? That's what i thought while playing quantum break. They had so many moments in the game where i wanted to embrace the gameplay and not walk around listen to way to many voice messenges or read trough countless Memos just so the story would work. That is bad game design 101.
@movefasta1993 below: Ok i get it. I made the same mistake a few times. Just remember nobody can sense empathy over the internet without the right words written all over it.
...
That's correct (the sony thing) but if they release a PC port the least they could do is do it the right way. That is not the remedy i defended in 2010 when Alan Wake released. I loved that game so much for it Storytelling qualities. QB not so much..
Seems like you are the JackJoyce from the future. I know it might be confusing to you but i guess you're mixing up Sony with MS, Remedy with Rare and PSVR with Kinect.
Multiplat is and was the best way for Remedy. Alan Wake while still a great game also never came close to Max Payne. Remedy always want's to archive great storytelling and immersion but in the end they always get held back by technical limitations.
Yep. Thats the reason i'll be waiting for PSVR first. And then when i know i can handle it without getting any motion sickness and the games are getting better and better maybe i'll get a HTC Vive with a new graphics card and everything else i need by then.
Thats good. More time for people to safe some money, make up their minds and prepare their bodies ^^
Thanks :)
That's exactly what we need to know:D
Daaaaaamn. My Internet is so bad at the moment i can't even watch the videos :((((
What platform do these release on?
Too many games right now :o now i have another one on my radar. I still remember playing the originals on ps1. I loved how hard and unforgiving they where. Looks like this get's as close as it gets today.
I still don't really know but after wolfenstein being an excellent single player shooter it's still on my radar even if the multiplayer falls flat.
I wish Bethesda would go the same route with doom as they did it with fallout 4 mods on consoles.
That was a good one ^^
