I've already pre-ordered it on PC, PS5 and XBOX. I'm also buying it for all of my friends to play. For as many systems as they own. Even their friends that I dont' know.

I can't wait for this game. The coop was great, and I am a huge fan of Nioh 2.

Like you I tried a few times to get into it. Then i found a lull in games and I played it start to finish. It's well worth your time, one of the better open world rpg's, and fantastic story/writing.
This reviewer is just no meant for this game. Good grief, made me ask why in the F are they even reviewing it? I mean Borderlands, BL2, BL3 and the Prequal where all the same game. You know what you're getting.

At no point in anything I have read or seen does it indicate this is a bloated DLC or expansion pack or whatever you want to call it other than a fully fleshed out game.

To be fair, that game has some of the craziest combat in a looter shooter. It's fast paced and the screen is often times filled with monsters/humans coming at you.
The story is actually kind of cool if you're into science fiction.

1. It feels like it was written by a 15 year old
2. Endgame is pointless grinding for no reward

Agree completely. Personal feelings aside for the toxicity that is "Streamers and Youtubers" I think more people need to spend time actually playing games.
Encourage yourself to play different genres---Gamepass is HUGE on this. I have tried out several different games I would have never dreamed I would enjoy. It's led to purchases and recommendations to my friends who enjoyed them. And Vice Versa.
Is it me or does it appear that the movement is far faster/fluid than previous battlefields? Also the TTK seems ultrafast?
I'm pretty sure it has a single player mode. The squadmates act as bots. You can play the whole game single player if you choose.
As far as story-I think it's extremely light. It's definitely a "play with friends and have fun" game. I don't sweat the $40 price tag-they're not trying to get full price out of it.
Buncha whiners.. I'd rather spend an extra $10 on a full mp game then $10 on a gun skin. And for those that are lamenting regarding missing sp campaign, the only good ones they had were BF1 and BFBC2 in my opinion, so not missing much there for me. I'm pumped for the new one. I'm hoping it gets back to the BF3/BF4 vibe

Did anyone even read the review? The author is mad it's not Destiny 2, it's more Diablo. Which you could immediately tell from watching any gameplay video at all.
Warframe has boosters. They work well. If FD does this I won't complain. I just don't want to see "insert weapon" for $29.99 on sale but there is no way to achieve it in the game
