Personally, I'm pretty poor so spending $60 a game is something I rarely do. Maybe 2 games a year or so I would spend 60 bucks on. The most important thing is not only the game has to be great, it has to last me longer than a week. If it doesn't, well, I just abuse Gamestop.

sorry but M$'s best year was 2006, the year they had no competition lol. 2007 too(a lot of good exclusives) but other than that, they lost the rest of the years.
Given that I played FFXI for 3 years, I could possibly play FFXIV for the rest of my life.
From a technical standpoint, it's just like comparing Gran Turismo to Crysis. You can't compare a game to Crysis unless it is a huge open world with explosions and lush environments.
The only thing impressive about this game are the character models, nothing else. And btw, Crysis graphics are 10x better than Heavy Rain graphics. Look at the ground textures in the park. Look at any textures in Crysis.

who says we pay top dollar? I pay gamefly, beat the game and get the platinum in a matter of days and send it back. I don't buy games that are less than 30 hours you crazy? A game that doesn't last longer than a month is a rental.

Replace GOW with Crisis Core and Replace the 2nd spot with GOW and replace lumines with Dissidia. Then the list may be a bit accurate although monster hunter is missing.
Actually, the real reason it's not coming to PS3 is because they fail at programming for the PS3. They fail as a developer, plain and simple. It's a shame that a masterpiece such as Half-Life came from these retards.

my solution to the money hungry companies, buy the games used if you don't pirate it. I'm definitely going to pirate MW2 and just buy FFXIII used since I'm not a big fan of greedy companies, especially ones that lie. (SE)
how about another onimusha, capcom? the onimusha series has made you plenty of money, why stop?
