Mods, ability to choose between 30 and 60fps lock, and better internet browser because the current one is a joke.
Fight For NY was easily one of the best fighting games I've ever played; I dunno if it could be considered a competitive material, but it was hella fun nonetheless and I was surprised how fast they let go of the franchise. I've been even thinking about a continuation or a remake recently and now I see this!
It's not like it had boring and repetitive beginning (a few hours of gameplay), disappointing bosses (except the 1st one), extremely generic platforming (if we can even call it that way), small variety of enemies, terrible looking-for-rune sequences just to open a chest (on the open environment mostly).
No, it was flawless.
doggo84 I disagree, while the animations are super fluid and cool, the dynamism BETWEEN moves isn't kept well; when Spidey does a different web slinging move - he suddenly slows down.
Aaaaand???
"Sony has been making games for casuals/MOVIE lovers"
And again, these are not very popular titles, while KZ: SF is a mere, mediocre (<--stated by many) shooter and Infamous is a somewhat decent example.
In HZD, for example, you can finish your enemy from behind, from 10 feet away with a single button press. And you have all those slow down time moves, 1-button combo and an auto close-ups to the enemies.
You've got a point, but still, the most popular ones (and with the biggest budget) are the ones with the biggest focus on narrative, and HZD fits the category.
Yeah, but they ARE giving you a freedom in gameplay and don't slow you down with their narrative bs.
"Another" hack'n'Slash game? Sure, because there are sooo many of them, these days...
"Sony has continuously delivered “walk and talk” games that offer emotional and rich stories without having to sacrifice interactivity"
Read: Sony has been making games for casuals/movie lovers so long, people forgot Bloodborne exists. Y'know, the only ACTUAL game that forces you to play it, not button mash it or press few buttons which trigger long/complex animations that do everything for you.
That's why I respect Nintendo.
@sibyl1 Well, I dunno, maybe because they are going to make our next generation of human beings that will be as retarded as them? Maybe because they have some chance to affect society and make it even more confusing than it already is?
lol, I got dislikes here for being right. Very original, N4G community.
If people demand video games to respresent them then they're a sensitive bi***es with fragile minds. They need a psychiatrist, not exposure, but today's world (America, to be exact) has taught us it's better to expose your flaws and be rather proud of them than trying to actually fight them.

Just checked the gameplay of XXL2 and it actually looks really fun, including the platforming segments.
Oh, the irony of triggered people who call the article's author a casual yet most of them probably think that Uncharted 4 is a masterpiece and the new GoW is a 10/10 title...
Well, it was repetitive because you were forced to play the same stages twice, however its atmosphere, narrative, characters, combat system and comedy was what made it be a real DMC game. So, since you've said DmC was better, I'm assuming you're not a big fan of the franchise or you just take personal taste over an established aesthetics and such.
@Obelisk92 ...Get out. Nintendo is one of few who still remember that games are meant to be fun, not interactive movies for lazy casuals.
Nah, it's Uncharted 4. You make your own pacing in Elder Scrolls games and I, personally, can see its charm (coming from non ES series fan)
The gameplay made me think it's a mere button masher, since the weapon bounced off of enemies and amount of times the samurai had to hit them reminded me of Shadow of Mordor. I found slow motion after guard so darn pathetic too because it's an outdated mechanic that's there just to help even the biggest of casuals be able to take advantage of the situation.
I hope it's better than that and the narrative isn't as invasive as in other Sony games.
As for the...
My gosh, you people are such a casual dumbasses PS4-elitist wannabes it's not even funny how much toxicity you can pour on someone who is trying to be fair. Also, there's a difference between thinking it's excellent and hating it which I clearly never said I did. But yeah, try to put me in your bias as much as you want, I said what I said and I know I've got a point way bigger than your safety bubble allows you to comprehend.
