To add, PS4 games install in mere seconds, no more than minutes if highly compressed (off the BR Disc) in comparison to the Xbox 1. It literally is a night and day difference with install speed between the two consoles.
They already have the remasters of the PS2/Vita games and GoW3/Ascension on PSN Now, as well as GoW3 remaster on the PS4. They are not going to do PS2 to PS4 with that series.
Lay off the mental gymnastics, click bait. This GoW will be March 2018 like they always have been.
Sony and Disney are in bed together... from the movie studio/television projects, to games with their Marvel and Star Wars IP's. It would take a hefty bank vault opening from MSFT, one which I would not hold my breath for.
Now it may be the game they are working on that is a "service game" like Destiny (Using Frostbite 3), in which I doubt is Star Wars themed.
The inclusion of God of War in this video makes me wonder if it actually might be coming out this year, or very early next year the latest.
Driveclub is still the graphical king for racing, however, 30fps vs. 60fps is the reason.
GT:S is still quite remarkable for 60fps. And it is beta with more updates to come which is encouraging.
That was not the same BioWare, read above.
Before people get confused by "BioWare"...
ME:A was developed by EA Montreal renamed to BioWare Montreal. Their prior games were Army of Two, NFS: Nitro and the like. EA gave them a big task.
Not the same BioWare which developed the OG ME trilogy and other games. This game is by the OG BioWare.
What a disingenuous comment.
Well Sony says it is selling well.

What/who he was responding to, Phil was right. He was supporting a developer for a third party game, in return for the health of the industry as a whole by saying it would be silly to pass up on a good game because of fanaticism. He even said play it on your preferred platform.
And I don't even own a Microsoft console anymore since the 360, but I support his comment in context by far as primarily a Playstation gamer.
The sad part is, Microsoft is doing a disservice to their gamers. They own the High Heat Baseball license, and have done nothing with it. They could also have a first party baseball game, but... nope.
They deserve every sale. This game is always quality with great additions every year.
I can come in this blind and know a KOTOR is numero uno. But the wrong one was chosen. The plot twist alone in the OG, as well as an actual complete and non cut/butchered to ship story still beats out the sequel.
I guess we can now start the pun...
Microsoftactions.
These must be the 'tools' Spencer was talking about to 'help developers'.
Yep, there is a diminishing returns factor at play.
Not to mention native 1080p scales evenly on a 4K set which gives it a 'native look'.
900p looks muddy on a 1080p set and above, due to much more artifacts and uneven scaling.
The current drives can already read above 50GB discs. This is a non-issue since games install to the HDD, and do not read off the disc.
They only use the 50gb ones because they are cheaper. Hence the large day one patches for things that did not fit on the disc.
Wouldn't the lack of the Optical Audio on the PS4Slim be a better comparison to Apple's Headphone Jack Removal?
Disingenuous slant to type an 'opinion piece'.
Nope. I do not subscribe to 'concern trolling'. Fumito Ueda's emotionally driven games have been great. Inspired many games since then, like Journey and ABZU.
I look forward to getting fully immersed in this one, and have a box of tissues handy.
You cannot 'cancel' what has not even been announced yet. This is not even rumor material. Just click-bait, nothing more.
Maybe because people are referring to overall sales, in which Sony is leading 2:1 worldwide. There is more than just North America when it comes to gaming.
