The system was mainly delayed cause of Blu, but that's not the whole story. Just think a little. If it would be only cause of Blu, the system would launch with tons of games. PS3 couldn't launch ealier even without the Blu problems as it wouldn't have any games.

HyperBear - Blu was put from the gamers view as it gives the devs more space. 360 is in it's 2nd gen and already a game crossed the DVD limit. Unlike with DVD, there is nothing negative with Blu.

You are right that emulating 360 on PS3 won't be possible. For emulating there must a big difference power wise, at least like that between Xbox and 360. But you are wrong that Sony gets sued for an emulated version of XP. They have nothing to do with it and you can't sue them for "enabling" it. If it would go that way, MS would get sued by any possible console, computer(commodore,atari) and arcade manufacturer as you can emulate anything till PS2 on PC.

...I don't like the things MS is doing. As a PC gamer without choice, I'm already allowing them to shove Vista down my throat, no way I'll do than in the console market. But even if it would be all good with MS I would still chose Sony, as the PS3 is the more appealing, more next gen and more future proof system for me with games I love.
