Not everybody has broadband internet and even many of the people that have still prefer having movies in their collection than just on their HDD.
One is for sure, you MS fans need more space and this for a reasonable price.
Sony realised they must be first or just not late next time around. This of course doesn't mean PS3 will have just a 4 year life cycle. There is no F1 game on PC or any other console and with all the F1 fanatics in Europe, this game will push the PS3 in Europe big and I mean really BIG.
Nobody expected it to launch with 100 games and we all knew that it's best games like MotorStorm, Heavenly Sword, Lair, etc. won't be launch titles, so don't act so surprised.
MS fanboys were saying RFOM, the only expected great launch title, will get 7's and now that it got high 8's and 9's they are crying there are not enough great launch games. Fanboys in denial.

Almoust nobody buys imported consoles, that's very unusal. Nobody wants to have problems if it breaks, cause for warranty you must send it to the country where you have it from.
In Europe it will be sold for 499€ and 599€, so even with the tax you can be sure if yen stays low they will make only marginal loss.

We are getting more for paying more as PS3 is not just a console, but a multimedia system with a next gen movie player. From the nextgen point of view it doesn't cost $200 more, but $100 as a console without HDD, wirelss controllers and online experience isn't really what's next gen is about. Next gen is not just the games but the whole experience.

There is also a reason behind all the silence. They probably don't give too much info about this game, cause they wanna leave MS in the dark. Expect this game to launch simultaneously with Halo 3.
They are just fanboys in denial. Kikizo was very harsh with the PS3 in the past and this preview wrote Adam Doree, the director of this site. Too bad PS3 didn't launch with this game, it would be a whole different story then and the launch would get a lot higher scores. But better perfect it than release an unfinished produst and we are just a few months away from a great AAA title.
