I believe it was stated at one point that it would be similar to KH. Though the fighting would be more epic in the way of something like Advent Children but in a game. Which sounds amazing to me an the trailer shows some pretty nice moves. As much as I do love KH I hope it doesn't involve a bunch of plain swinging animations like KH. I'm really hoping for something more epic in vision for the battle system. I don't expect every battle to be intense but at least cool to watch unfol...
What about people that rent they are inadvertently effecting another market. Which personally I think is the point, they are not stupid. They know renting is a huge market that will be effected by this as well. An if they were thinking these companies would know that renting accounts for a lot of new sales in itself. I can't tell you how many times I've rented a game first and decided I to buy it later because I was able to rent it.
An if I wasn't able to, it woul...
To my understanding though I have not played Demon Souls as of yet. Is that it lacks a major story element and barely has one at all.
I personally like both and I believe there is room for both. I to love customizing in wrpgs like Fallout 3 and Mass Effect 2. An I understand where you are coming from where the story could feel more personally an sometimes I enjoy that. Though there is the other side of things for me. Mass Effect 2 is a better example of unisex writing but they also had to do twice the work an for what it is it works well. My main issue with that for all games is for one that would get stale. It would also l...
I don't even think its so much as the turn based needs to stop to be honest. If that were completely true then a lot of people's favorite rpgs wouldn't still be on a PS1 console. Whether that be Xenogears, Suikoden II, FFVII, FFVIII, Legend of legaia, Legend of dragoon, vagrant story an more. The biggest problem I personally see is the same thing that's been said above. Jrpg designers are losing sight of what made their gaames what they are in the first place.

What about people who don't have mass amounts of money to blow on games an like to rent first. What if in turn the features they cut for the DLC .Turns out to be something that would have in turn made you buy the game instead of just renting it. This so called used games battle is hurting a huge area of the gaming market that helps turn plenty of sales. The whole cutting of content has already made me turn away from purchases on certain games due their obvious feature losses to day 1 dlc....
They are ripping maps and other fun things out of the game before launch and offering them as incentives. Lets get real here we know that's what they are going to do. Its the same thing they are doing now with day 1 DLC and pre order bonuses.
That's why I haven't played again, after the second character and all this other little dlc spread out everywhere. It kinda felt pointless for me to do my full complete run for the 3rd and final time when I would probably end up missing a bunch more of the DLC. Personally as far as this little armor giving stuff goes I'd rather just have my armor like it was in ME1 and the Customization of ME2.
Mass Effect 2 vs cutting off the online feature on games the heavily depend on it is getting ridiculous. How about me renting the game? now sure that doesn't effect you but I don't have unlimited amounts of cash to throw around. An I for one like to know I'm getting my money's worth before I commit to that full purchase. Also allowing your friends to borrow a game maybe he wants to check out MWII online but wait what's this you've got to pay 10 bucks. An what about a f...
Has this considered people who rent? Most people rent to decide if they want to buy. If the online component is an important part of the game you rented and you can't play without paying. You could ultimately decide well it isn't worth paying for send it back and the online could have been the determining factor of if you decided to buy it or not. An ultimately they have inadvertently killed a potential sale.
Edit: just saw Nineball2112 post but that raises the questi...
They are running out but I'm betting that's probably still what they are betting on.
1. FF XIII VS going multiplatform god I hope not this game needs to stay exclusive for many reason.
2. Zone of the Enders 3 going multiplat and revealing its development.
3. MGS Rising timed exclusive either game or dlc or something.
If none of that happens I can't think of anything else they could do that would upset the balance....
Who is to say the majority of those titles are not Japan only or which ones will even see the light of day. On top of that who is to say out of all of that, that the ones for the Wii could just be the best what they felt like would do good on the console. How many of those titles do you really think are gonna be the Monster hunters, Resident Evils and the Street Fighters even if they all see the light of day. Don't go off of the more alleged games equals better scenario when we have littl...
Monster Hunter is a huge franchise, maybe not their biggest but I hope your not underestimating the sales that game generates. I know a number of people personally that never intended to get a Wii until Monster Hunter was announced. After that they all got a Wii no questions asked just to play that game. I even thought about it as I had been waiting on the black Wii. Though I just can't really see me buying a console for two to three games.
Since when is six games from one company not a lot? Are they supposed to have like 30 or something?
I'm not saying your wrong because someones definition of a gaming rig is all their own and about what they need. Though someone can buy a monitor just the same for their consoles. Now under the right circumstances you would be right for some people but that's the thing about PC gaming what's good for the next person might not be good enough for the next. I just find a lot of stuff sounds good on paper or in these comments but real world measures don't always add up to these what if scenarios ...
Yo where is a link for that voting I want to vote for that as well. Sony is so freaking lazy an annoyed by it let me deactivate my accounts from a freaking PC that's brilliant.
Do you know what it means to take a gamble? What part of Microsoft getting FFXIII on the 360 as well was a gamble? Last time I checked there was no risk in it on Microsoft's side of things.
The Lambo belongs to the owner of epic not Cliffy he just let him drive it. Though after the gears serious has taken off like it has he could probably have one of his own no sweat.
Its not like Mass Effect 2 takes that much to run in the first place but ok. If you happen to get your hands on Metro 2033 let me know how that runs for you I'm curious.
I could say the same in light of I prefer ground breaking advancements that PS3 exclusives tend to produce when given to the right team. Whether that advancement be new lighting techniques and or many other things. Kind of like how the GOW3 team did a lot that prior to the games development a lot of them didn't think were possible. What was a major factor in all of this regardless of the teams talent is the sole focus of dealing with the Playstation 3 alone.
Also if you l...
